At the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) late last month, former U.S. President Donald Trump had ripped into Joe Biden for his disastrous first month in office. The blockbuster speech by the former US President came as his first public appearance after leaving the White House on January 20, and proved to be a nightmare of the Biden administration as it was exposed on all fronts for its socialist policies. But we know how President Biden has a lot of friends in the media, and in Silicon Valley too. So, as the political masters of Google would have it, YouTube has deleted videos of Trump’s speech from its platform.
As if the speech by Trump wasn’t already hurting liberals and Democrats enough, YouTube’s decision of deleting it will only further work in the favour of Trump. Americans are a curious people, and with YouTube taking to deleting the CPAC speech made by Trump, many would want to hear him out themselves, and find out what the man said which irked the video-streaming platform and its political masters so much.
A search of “Trump CPAC” yielded no concrete results at the moment this report was filed. It seems that YouTube has deleted all videos which contain the full 90-minute speech which Donald Trump delivered at CPAC, although snippets of the same continue to be available on the video-streaming platform. The Right-Side Broadcasting Network first noted the deletion of their CPAC video on Thursday in a tweet from their official account. “RSBN has been suspended from YouTube for two weeks because of the Trump #CPAC2021 speech, which violated their guidelines on election misinformation,” they said.

The video was approaching 4 million views. They have also removed it from their platform.

YouTube also deleted the video of Trump’s speech posted by RT, saying that the ‘violative’ address was not adequately flagged. Furthermore, it also said that the content fell foul of the platform’s ‘spam and scam’ policies, because it did not contain enough warnings for the viewers. The broadcaster, meanwhile, said that the video was a ‘no comment, live feed’, which effectively means that YouTube’s claims of Trump inciting violence with his CPAC speech fall flat on its face.
It must be remembered that Donald Trump’s personal YouTube account had been suspended after the Capitol Hill violence of January 6, which mainstream media, democrats and liberals ganged up to accuse Trump of instigating. Even where there is no threat of violence, particularly by Trump supporters who have accepted that their turn will come again after four years, YouTube claims that “an elevated risk still remains”, thereby making it clear that restoration of Trump’s YouTube channel will not be happening any time soon.
YouTube’s attempt at placating the present rulers of America will prove to be counter-productive. Already, Donald Trump has caught the attention of many with his fiery speech at the CPAC, and videos of the same being deleted from YouTube will only make the man even more popular. TFI has comprehensively reported about how Trump took down Biden during his speech, saying that Joe Biden’s administration was “anti-jobs, anti-families, anti-border, anti-energy, anti-women and anti-science.”
CPAC, which for long has been perceived by the American mainstream media and liberals as a far-right cringe-fest, was effectively turned into a mainstream event that dominates the US’ news cycles, solely due to the much-anticipated speech of Donald Trump’s. As much as the media, democrats and liberals despise the man, Trump turned a taboo-like conference of conservatives into an event that hit the headlines.
