Alycia Purrott also known as Aly Armstrong is a Canadian actress best known for her role as Pink Ranger Sydney “Syd” Drew on Power Rangers: S.P.D. on television. Alycia Purrott was born on October 24, 1983, in Lindsay, Ontario. Ally is currently based in Vancouver, Canada.
Early Career
Alycia began performing at the age of 14, primarily in television commercials and promos. She also performed in “Asleep on the Wind,” a play for which she won the best actress prize at the Sears Drama Festival in Ontario.
She appeared in two films during her junior year, Virtual Mom and Jailbait. Alycia traveled to Southern California after graduation to pursue a career in broadcast journalism. She traveled to New Zealand to shoot a television series after her second year in California.
