Michael Stockton is a professional basketball player in the LNB Pro A for Champagne Basket. He was a member of the Griffins of Westminster College’s basketball team. Career

In the 2011 NBA draught, Stockton went undrafted. Michael Stockton got his first professional deal with BG Karlsruhe of Germany’s Pro A division in July 2011.

Stockton signed with the Utah Jazz for the 2012 NBA Summer League in July 2012, averaging 3.6 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in five games. For the 2012–13 season, he returned to BG Karlsruhe.

Stockton returned to the Utah Jazz in July 2013 for the 2013 NBA Summer League, averaging 4.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in three games.

On July 15, 2019, Stockton joined Cholet Basket. During the 2019-20 season, he averaged 12.2 points and 6.8 assists per game (second-best assist ratio in the french league). On June 15, 2020, Stockton signed a two-year deal with the organization.

Michael Stockton signed with Budivelnyk of the Ukrainian Basketball Super League on July 27, 2021. Due to the Russo-Ukrainian dispute, he quit the team in February 2022.

He signed with Champagne Basket of the LNB Pro A on April 2, 2022.

Houston Stockton, his great-grandfather, was a football player for Gonzaga from 1922 to 1924, going undefeated in his senior year and earning All-America honorable mention accolades.

Houston, his brother, was a football player for the University of Montana. David, another brother, attended Gonzaga University and is currently a member of the Memphis Hustle.

Michael Stockton was drafted in the second round of the 2015 NBA Development League Draft by the Grand Rapids Drive and later transferred to the Canton Charge for Adrian Forbes on October 31, 2015.

Stockton joined Avtodor Saratov of the VTB United League on September 10, 2016, after spending the 2016 NBA Summer League with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Stockton left Avtodor Saratov on January 23, 2017.

For the remainder of the 2016–17 Greek Basket League season, Stockton has signed with Apollon Patras.
