Who is John Egbert?
In Andrew Hussie’s Homestuck, a character named John Egbert appears. John, a thirteen-year-old boy, celebrates his birthday on April 13. He is the first child to be revealed and one of four children along with Rose Lalonde, Dave Strider, and Jade Harley. In Homestuck, one of the main characters is John Egbert. He wasn’t given a name until his thirteenth birthday, according to the first page of Homestuck.
Storyline and Appearance of the character
John first appeared in Act 1 and is trying to get a game called Suburb. But to get it, he had to fight his father. As soon as he starts the game, he can expand the room and put a machine that makes a mysterious apple while a big meteorite hits the house. He chews an apple and carries it to the medium.
John Egbert wakes up and only sees everything around him destroyed. John also states that his father was missing and several Imps stole him. Goblins cause havoc in John’s room, angering John and killing them all.
Soon, a larger kobold known as a demon began to attack John. John joins his girlfriend Rose La Rondo’s game session, both defeating All Ogre. Before this happened, Rose’s internet crashed and prevented her from joining John. John turned to Dave Strider for help, but Dave continued to knock. It was also revealed that John had mischief Dave to piss.

In this act, John’s Nanna, Nanna Sprite, helps John by getting rid of some demons and goblins. Nanna Sprite also baked some cookies for John. Whenever John looks weak, Nanna Sprite brings him back to perfect health. John is also trying to get a present because Jade Harley, Dave Strider, and Rose La Rondo had the same birthday.
John Egbert meets a troll named Teresi who tells John to enter a portal called the Second Gate. Teresi did not tell John that there were strong enemies at the second gate. So when John passed through the second gate, he didn’t know what was prepared for him.
Fortunately, Dave Strider retreated in time before passing through the second gate to make sure John didn’t die. As Dave went back in time, he told John not to listen to Teresi unless he didn’t want to be killed.
John didn’t listen to him and he went through the second gate. Surprisingly, this was just him crashing into Rose’s house. John made a big entrance, but Rose didn’t wake up. John sneaks into Rose’s computer and pretends to be Rose when he sends a text message to a troll named Kanaya Mariam who has just contacted Rose.

Short biography of John Egbert
John Egbert always has his hair up and wears glasses. With his god tier he wears a blue hood. He wears a yellow suit with a moon figure on it as part of his Prospit outfit.
John thinks his pranks are hilarious, but he is unaware that his pranks can sometimes go too far (like how he peed in a lemonade bottle and gave it to Dave). However, John is strong and manages to defeat Caliborn.
