Full name of AB devilliers is Abraham Benjamin de Villiers. He is a former South African international cricketer. He was born on 17 February 1984 at Warmbad, Transvaal Province, South Africa. AB Devilliers is a right-handed batter and he scored over 8,000 runs in Tests including 22 centuries and 46 fifties.

After spending his good time in the South Africa U19 team, he made his debut for the Titans in the year 2003/4.

At the age of 20 he made his Test debut on 16 December 2004 against England at Port Elizabeth stadium. With his top score of 217 runs, on 4 April 2008, De Villiers became the first South African to score a double century against India.

In the year 2005 he scored his first Test century against England. In ODI he made his first century against West Indies in 2007. For the fastest 100 and 150 in One-Day Internationals he also holds the world record.
