Chinnamastik Rajrappa Mandir is a Hindu pilgrimage centre located at Rajarappa in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand state, India. The main deity of this temple is Mata Chinnamastik who is a form of Mata Parvati. Chinnamastik is also called Chinnamastik. The second name of Chinnamastika is also known as ‘Prachanda Chandika.’

The headless deity of the mother is worshiped in this temple. Rajrappa Mandir Rajrappa Jharkhand is situated at Rajarappa at the confluence of Bhairavi-Bheda and Damodar River. The temple is surrounded by forest, due to which the beauty of the temple increases.

History of this Temple

Rajrappa Mandir Rajrappa Jharkhand was built around 6 thousand years ago. This temple has been constructed according to the architecture. The sculpture of its circular dome resembles the sculpture of ‘Kamakhya Temple’ of Assam. There is only one gate in the temple. The main gate of the temple faces east. In front is the sacrificial place, where goats are sacrificed daily. There is also Mundan Kund here. There is also Papanashini Kund, which cures diseased devotees.
