History of this Temple

According to history, Bhukund has been considered the first Rawal of Baba Kedarnath. Bhukund Bhairav ​​is called Kshetrapal of Kedarnath. Baikund Bhairav ​​is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. This temple is about 500 meters from Kedarnath, which is situated on the top of the hill, it can be reached on foot.

Bhukund Bhairav Mandir Kedarnath is situated in the south direction of Kedarnath temple and can be seen from Kedarnath temple. It is believed that if any devotee visits Kedarnath, then his darshan will be considered incomplete until he does not visit Baikund Baba.
