Ottawa constructs a façade to fool the Canadian public

Canadian research: Have you heard the tale of the little boy who receives a chocolate from a stranger? The kid feels happy and starts trusting the stranger and follows him. But this happiness of the kid is short lived since the intentions of the stranger were always bad and he just wanted to fool the little kid with that chocolate to fulfill his selfish deeds.

In Ottawa, a similar incident has occurred. Here, the little kid is the Canadian population and the stranger is the Canadian government. So what is the chocolate that is being used by the Trudeau administration to deceive its populace? Let us understand.

On hundreds of cutting-edge technology research projects, Canadian institutions have worked with a leading Chinese army scientific institution for years, producing information that can propel China’s defense industry in the most innovative and high-tech fields.

However, it was asserted that Beijing is increasingly exploiting Canadaian academia research collaborations to acquire innovative science and technology for economic and military gain.

The use of bright Canadian minds by China to bolster its military and so achieve a tactical advantage in the great power conflict between Beijing and the US-led Western bloc was widely believed to be the case.

People began raising concerns and highlighting the government’s inability to address the grave problem. When the matter began to absolutely spiral out of control then the Trudeau administration finally decided to act.  Just like calling the fire department after watching the house get burnt.

So now the federal government has directed many Canadian research institutions to examine funding proposals from China and other adversarial countries, Innovation Minister François-Phillipe Champagne stated this late on Tuesday. In order to better prevent China from gaining access to cutting-edge research and technology, Mr. Champagne promised to introduce new national-security regulations.

But Canada is under Trudeau regime. Here, promises are made, but they are never actually kept. Keep in mind that this is simply an announcement and that the policies have not yet been put into effect.

This banning of all research funding with Chinese military institutes may just be an election drama to fool and impress the Canadian people in order to win their trust, much like how the chocolate was given to the little kid just to attract him.

However, again just like that stranger, Trudeau has never really cared for his people. There is a lengthy array of instances from the past that support this.

He and his entire cabinet even went so far as to refuse to cast a vote on the Canadian Parliament’s resolution declaring that the Uighurs in China have been and are still being subjected to genocide. In fact, he keeps working with China even though it continually lies to and blackmails Canada.

So what is the guarantee that the federal government’s sudden change of heart is even real?  Could it be possible that these steps are being taken with the goal of misleading Canadians on the front while continuing to support and collaborate with the Chinese government in the backdrop?

A government that didn’t even care to comment or react when China dubbed Canada the “running dog of the United States,” wants its people believe that these actions and measures are being taken for their safety. That Trudeau is actually caring for them?

It is a matter of time and one has to just wait to watch his true colors come out.
