Jodhpur Santoshi Mata Mandir – Guide

There is only one such Mandir of Santoshi Mata in Jodhpur, Rajasthan where Santoshi Mata appeared. The temple of Santoshi Mata is considered as a Shakti Peeth in the whole country amidst the natural hills behind Krishi Mandi on Mandore Road, Jodhpur. In the rocks of the main sanctum sanctorum of the temple, surrounded by natural beauty between the rocks, like a Sheshnag, a canopy is seen over the idol of the mother. Akhand Jyot Havan and Kirtan are organized in this temple all the time.

History of this Temple

History of Jodhpur Santoshi Mata Mandir is considered about 56 years ago, Udaramji Sankhla, a resident of Chandpol, was given darshan by Mata, since then devotee Udaramji started serving Mata. He only converted that deserted place into a temple and inaugurated a Akhandjot. There are red colored rocks surrounding the temple, on which the rays of the sun fall, due to which the whole area looks like a red colored aura as if Mata is sitting here spreading red dupatta.
