Ambe Mata Temple is located in Banaskantha district of Gujarat in India. This ancient temple of Maa Ambaji, one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of the Goddess, is dedicated to the Shakti form of Mata Sati. In which no idol of mother is sitting. The idol is not worshiped in this temple of Ambaji. Only one holy Shreeyantra is established here in the form of Mother.

History of this Temple

This ancient Banaskantha Ambe Mata Temple is more than 1200 years old. If we talk about the peak of the temple, then 358 golden urns are installed in this 103 feet high peak. According to historical books, Mata Sati is the temple of Ambaji Mata, and at that place the heart of Mata Sati had fallen, that is why this temple is comes among 51 Shaktipeeths. Devotees come here to have darshan of Maa Ambaji and receive her blessings.

Banaskantha Ambe Mata Temple opens from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM in the morning and from 12:30 to 6:30 PM in the evening. Morning aarti is performed at 8:00 AM in the morning and evening aarti is performed at 4:30 PM in the evening.
