Kashi Ravidas Mandir – Guide
Saint Ravidas Mandir in Dharma Nagri Kashi is known as the second Golden Temple of Kashi. This is known as golden Temple of Kashi because its Seer Govardhan the birth place of Saint Shiromani Ravidas ji. His grand temple built here is also now known as the Golden Temple. Because more than 200 kg of gold is present here.
History of this temple
Kashi Ravidas Mandir was built in the year 1965 by Hari das. Here the first golden Kalash was offered in the year 1994 by Sant Garib Das with the help of Sangat. Later the devotees decorated it with 32 golden kalash. A 130 kg gold palanquin is kept in the Sant Ravidas temple which was built in Jalandhar, Punjab by the devotees of Europe in 2008. It was unveiled by BSP supremo Mayawati in February 2008.
Kashi Ravidas Mandir Timings
Kashi Ravidas Mandir opens at 7:00 AM in the morning and close at 11:00 PM in the evening. Morning darshan starts at 7:30 AM in the morning.
