His past, much like his brother’s untimely demise, remains shrouded in secrecy. While there have been stories whispered in hushed tones, they have never been shouted from the rooftops.

Russell Williams, a decorated colonel in the Canadian Armed Forces and former commander of Canadian Forces Base Trenton, is no stranger to infamy. Born on March 7, 1963, in Bromsgrove, England, Williams led a double life as a serial burglar, fetishist, and murderer. Between 2007 and 2010, he committed a string of heinous crimes, including break-ins, thefts, sexual assaults, and the murder of two women.
The investigation into Williams began after a break-in and sexual assault occurred in Tweed, Ontario, in September 2009. Connecting the dots, the police uncovered a series of unsolved home invasions and sexual assaults in the vicinity.
During the intense investigation, the police stumbled upon tire tracks at the crime scenes that matched those of Williams’ Nissan Pathfinder. Armed with a warrant, they searched his home and vehicle, unearthing a trove of evidence linking him to the crimes. Stolen lingerie, photographs of his victims, and a concealed compartment housing his loot all pointed to his guilt.
As if the forensic evidence wasn’t damning enough, investigators conducted extensive interviews with Williams, leading to chilling admissions and further incriminating statements.
The weight of the evidence forced Williams’ arrest in February 2010, securing his connection to the sexual assaults and murders through undeniable forensic proof. It was later discovered that he had meticulously documented his crimes, capturing photographs and videos of his victims. In October 2010, Russell Williams was handed a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
His uniform burned, his badges stripped—the Canadian Air Force reeled from the scandal.
The Bernardo-Williams Friendship
And then, a new revelation emerged: Bernardo and Williams were once close friends during their college years.
In the wake of the former commanding officer’s shocking arrest at CFB Trenton, a disturbing report surfaced. It suggested that Col. Russ Williams and Paul Bernardo were friends during their time at the University of Toronto’s Scarborough campus in the mid-1980s, where they both pursued economics and graduated together.
Reports indicate they even “partied together,” and Possibly committed some crimes together.

Rumors also circulate that Justin Trudeau had a close association with Russell Williams back in 2008, just as Stephen Harper did. Interestingly, Williams was also Trudeau’s pilot for some time. Curiously, since taking office, Trudeau has remained silent about Williams. Instead, he has facilitated the ease of imprisonment for Bernardo and other criminals.
This is the Prime Minister of Canada, ladies and gentlemen. A leader with ties to Pickton farms, Bernardo, and even Williams. He sits atop the throne while the truth remains buried. It begs the question: If an honest investigation were to take place, would Trudeau’s reign crumble within days? But will such an investigation ever see the light of day?
