Ronald Raegan in one of his speeches said, Drugs are a formidable enemy in any society. They not only destroy individuals but undermine the foundations of families, communities, and nations. Appears the former President of the United States would find it really hard to cope with Canada in 2023.
In a twist that would leave even Ronald Reagan shaking his head, Canada in 2023 seems to have taken drug normalization to a whole new level.
Just when we thought distributing safe snorting kits to school kids was the epitome of absurdity, the federal government has unveiled a scheme that would make heads hang in shame.
Prepare yourself, for the latest jaw-dropping revelation: Trudeau’s plan to allow drugs for…..sexual pleasure.
The Chemsex
Yes, you read that right. Even we can’t help but chuckle at the sheer audacity of it all.
Under the Liberal government’s watch, over $20,000 in taxpayer funding has been pledged to a project that aims to raise awareness about “chem sex” within the LGBTQ+ community.
For the unaware, chemsex involves using hard drugs like meth and cocaine to enhance sexual activity.
Health Canada’s Substance Use and Addictions Program (SUAP) has already doled out $108,159 to fund the “Chemsex Awareness Project.” Now, an additional $21,031 has been granted to SafeLink Alberta Society, an independent NGO working on the project of awareness.
It seems the government wants to arm service providers, including health, social service, and harm reduction professionals, with tools to reduce harms related to substance use and mental health issues within the gay/bisexual community. At least that’s what Health Canada claims.
But wait a minute, shouldn’t they be talking about the side effects? Chemsex can wreak havoc on physical health, affecting vital organs like the heart and brain. Not to mention the anxiety and depression that can accompany such activities.
And has the federal government conveniently forgotten that drug-induced loss of consciousness can lead to severe misconduct, including sexual assault?

Losing the Touch
Also, Methamphetamine, ecstasy, and mephedrone are typically the drugs of choice during chemsex, with injection use posing an increased risk of infections and bloodborne viruses like HIV, hepatitis C, and hepatitis B. Doesn’t Trudeau know this?
Sadly, this isn’t the first time Canadian taxpayers have unwittingly funded sexual initiatives. Who could forget the foreign aid program that used taxpayer dollars for senior sex shows and sex toy exhibits abroad? It’s a shame our hard-earned money is being funneled into such ventures.
And let’s not overlook the fact that earlier this year, a report prepared for Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam identified “climate change” and “capitalism” as key guiding messages for Canada’s response to public health. It’s almost comical how unrelated issues find their way into the nation’s health agenda.

As a media organization, we can’t help but feel a pang of sadness for Canada. The deplorable state of affairs is truly tragic. Now, they are talking about the normalization of drugs for pleasure, and advocate for a society that prioritizes the well-being and safety of its citizens above all else.
Seriously, Canada is turning into a great big joke. The country is undergoing a transformation that may prove irreparable. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
