Trudeau’s overt antisemitism is a covert attempt at appeasing Muslims

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s foreign policy decisions have often been a subject of intense scrutiny and criticism, both domestically and internationally. In recent times, his stance on Israel and his handling of Muslim-related issues have raised eyebrows, sparking debates about the motivations behind his actions. 

Recently, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau expressed concerns about Israel’s policies and his decision not to extend an invitation to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Speaking at a public meeting, Trudeau said, “We recognize the violence going on right now. It is difficult for people across the region — both Israelis and Palestinians,”

“We’re calling for de-escalation and peace and working through some of the flashpoints that are happening. Canada has a longstanding position that settlements and the settlement process are illegal. And we need to stand against that.”

However, in the end, Trudeau added that Canada is a “steadfast” friend of Israel. Really? Doesn’t look like that. By taking such a stand, Trudeau seems to be pushing for Canada’s support for Palestinian rights and ditching Israel completely. 

The Plot 

Trudeau’s refusal to host Netanyahu may reflect a lack of diplomatic tact or an attempt to signal support for the Palestinian cause at the expense of a close ally. In recent times, Trudeau has been seen adopting a policy of appeasement towards the Muslim community in Canada. 

Particularly after the Muslim vs. LGBTQ saga, Trudeau has probably developed a fear that Muslim votes may shift to other political parties. 

Muslims have started castigating the liberal government. One of the contentious issues has been the introduction of an LGBTQ curriculum in schools, aimed at promoting inclusivity and acceptance. While the curriculum seeks to empower and protect LGBTQ students, some conservative Muslim Canadians perceive it as a forceful imposition of values that clash with their religious beliefs. 

This has created tension between the government’s progressive agenda and the traditional values of some Muslim communities.

Furthermore, JT’s comments on Muslims being misguided exacerbated the perceived divide between Trudeau’s government and the Muslim community. And so, Trudeau is on a mission to win back Muslim support. Trudeau knows that Israel is one of the best cards which JT can play to win the Muslim votes.

Attacking the Jews 

And for that, he is ready to go even all out against Jews. The appointment of Amira Elghawaby as the special representative on combating Islamophobia is the best example to prove this point. Elghawaby’s past remarks about anti-Islam sentiment and alleged bias against Jews are known to everyone. 

Yet, she enjoys the federal post because of JT’s blessings. Trudeau’s commitment to tackling Islamophobia while potentially disregarding the concerns of other religious and ethnic communities, including Jewish Canadians is indeed alarming. 

It sends a troubling message about the government’s stance on religious freedom and diversity and highlights the need for greater transparency and accountability in the appointment process.

For the sake of votes, JT can go to any extent. It’s high time people realize this before it’s too late.
