World Cup debut

In the first World Cup in 1975, the Indian team reached the group stage but failed to qualify for the playoffs. However, several Indian players performed well. It is possible to place individual bets on a particular player in 2024, after entering your Pin-Up bet login, where a wide range of events are available for many tournaments.

Sunil Gavaskar has scored 561 runs in 7 matches at an average of 70.12, including a hundred and four half-centuries. And bowler Madana Lala has taken 11 wickets in 5 games at an average of 20.45. Their performances were some of India’s highlights in the tournament.

Winning World Cups in 1983 and 2011

The Kapil Dev-led Indian team was grouped alongside West Indies, Australia, and Zimbabwe. The Indians came out from second place and faced England in the semi-finals, defeating the principled rivals. India defeated the West Indies in the final to win their first Cricket World Cup. In the recent face-to-face matches between India and West Indies, a trend has emerged that after the Pin Up bet app download, bettors prefer to bet on the Indian team to win.

In 2011, India played in the same group with Bangladesh, England, Ireland, Netherlands, and South Africa. The hosts successfully passed the first stage of the competition. And faced Australia in the quarterfinal match, beating the favourite.

After downloading the Pin Up bet apk and starting to place bets, bettors understood that cricket games between India and Australia are historically among the most attractive in terms of signage and have colossal popularity among spectators.

Pakistan were beaten in the semi-finals. India won by six wickets in the final against Sri Lanka to win their second World Cup.

Individual records of players at World Cups

The record for India’s hundreds in Cricket World Cup matches belongs to Sachin Tendulkar, one of the most popular players. He has scored a total of six hundreds in World Cup matches, playing in six different tournaments. His hundreds were against Kenya, Sri Lanka, Namibia, England, South Africa, and Bangladesh.

One trend at every World Cup is that Pinup bettors regularly place pre-tournament bets on an Indian player to be the best athlete in the tournament.

Another record holder is the bowler who has taken the most wickets in a single World Cup — Zahir Khan. He took 21 wickets in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, sharing the top spot in wicket-taking with Shahid Afridi of Pakistan. The bonus of his superb play was India’s victory in the World Cup.
