Minions are enemies or allies that spawn from the Nexus objective during matches. These little creatures are unique in their design and can work as both an obstacle for you and your opponent, so what is there to know about them?

What Are Minions?

There are also Rust accounts for sale on U7BUY at any time you need. Minions spawn from the Nexus on the opposite sides of the League of Legends maps. The Nexus is also known as your objective as you must reach your opponent’s Nexus to destroy it. However, Minions work as another obstacle to reaching your objective. When the LOL Minions spawn, they will move down the lanes until they reach your League of Legends Champion team and target you. Once the clock reaches the 1:05 mark, waves of the League of Legends Minions will appear and will keep appearing every 30 seconds.

Minion Types

Four types of Minions can spawn during a match. Depending on the number of waves that spawn will increase the number of each type of Minion and the total League of Legends Minions spawned in the wave. This can make the match more dangerous and crowded for both teams which can make dealing with them a top priority to continue progressing in the match.

Super Minions

When a team’s Inhibitor has been destroyed, a Super Minion from the enemy team will spawn and travel down the same lane as where the Inhibitor was. Super Minions deal the most damage compared to all the other types. Two of these LOL Minions can spawn in a team if all Inhibitors have been destroyed which can make for a great bonus.

Melee Minions

Melee Minions are the weakest Minion type, but they also are the ones to spawn the most often. Each wave will spawn three more of them and just as the name suggests,  League of Legends Melee Minions can only attack up close using their swords. When attacking them, it’s best to do so from afar.

Caster Minions

Caster Minions can shoot spells at your League of Legends Champions and spawn the same amount as Melee Minions as three per wave. Due to being able to shoot from afar, it is best to be careful around Caster Minions and to always pay attention to where they are targeting next.

Siege Minions

Other than the League of Legends Super Minions, Siege Minions are one of the rarest to see during a match. These Minions do not spawn in the same wave as Super Minions. They also take a long time before spawning during a wave at all. One Siege Minion will appear after three waves each time for the first 15 minutes of a match. This will increase to spawning every two waves after 15 minutes, and then to every single wave after 25 minutes.

The reason for the low spawn rate is that besides the LOL Super Minions, Siege Minions are also the strongest in the game out of the rest of the types. These League of Legends Minions ride on special cannons that can deal a great amount of damage when hit, so it’s best to take them out with as much caution as possible.
