To take down Florida governor DeSantis and please its Democrat handlers, CBS has come up with a heavily edited video clip

Democrats have not been able to unseat the Florida governor, so now they and their media loyalists have resorted to using shady and underhanded techniques for character assassination of the Florida governor. CBS News’ “60 Minutes” is being accused of deceptively editing a heated exchange between one of its correspondents and Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis over an alleged “pay for play” scheme being pushed by the reporter.

A report surfaced in early March that Publix had been granted “special access” to sell the coronavirus vaccine in Palm Beach County in exchange for a $100,000 campaign donation. However, on the same day, the Director of the Florida Division of Emergency Management Jared Moskowitz, a Democrat, completely shut down that narrative.

Not considering it, during a March 23 news conference “60 Minutes” correspondent Sharyl Alfonsi asked DeSantis about the allegations, and in a lengthy answer, he thoroughly debunked her narrative. However, as the agenda was not successful, she set about to air a “bombshell report” exposing DeSantis’ “corruption” but it was all a collection of deceptively edited DeSantis’ answer so that only the first sentence aired leaving viewers unaware of the full story.

It was so easy to debunk because even the Democrats from Florida came in support of DeSantis. Moskowitz also pointed out that Florida was ahead of the federal government in pharmacy rollout. His tweet reads, “This idea why Publix was picked has been utter nonsense. We reached out to all pharmacies and they were the only ones who at the time could execute on the mission. The federal government delayed the federal pharmacy program and we yet again stepped up first to serve more seniors.”

Desantis has created a model state for the whole country to look at and being a Republican-run state with businesses open, it is an eyesore for the Democrat who is facing the flank of an American citizen for the failed border as well as pandemic policy. Florida is looking to rein in big tech with legislation addressing censorship, election interference and privacy concerns.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spoke about the legislation at a press conference earlier this month. He alleged that Big Tech had “come to look more like Big Brother.” DeSantis also alleged that social media companies practised “viewpoint discrimination” and engaged in “coordinated, calculated efforts” to promote a political agenda during the last elections.

All these things make the Governor of Florida a dangerous man for the Democrats who want the American people to forget what it means to be American. Alfonsi claims that DeSantis chose Publix to administer the vaccine instead of public health agencies, limiting coverage for disadvantaged and ethnic citizens and that teachers and critical staff were discriminated against by only vaccinating people 65 and older throughout phase 2. Mainstream media outlets and liberals are parroting CBS News’ “60 Minutes” widely panned report that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, gave the Publix grocery store chain a preferable treatment to offer the coronavirus vaccine based on its donations to his PAC.

Business Insider also echoed the “60 Minutes” report without noting backlash or Moskowitz’s denial, but did manage to quote a county commissioner who called speculation implied by CBS News “absolutely false and offensive.” The Huffington Post published a similar report without mentioning much of the criticism surrounding the “60 Minutes” segment.

The fact that these MSM houses conveniently echoed the heavily edited video of DeSantis and reported on the same without taking the time to look at the whole report means that they are totally inclined towards furthering the agenda of the Democrats and have no intention of even maintaining the façade of objectivity.
