Chuck Ross is an Investigative Reporter at The Daily Caller. The Daily Caller is a news website based in Washington D.C. It was founded by Tucker Carlson and Neil Patel in 2010.
Chuck Ross and Twitter feud
The DCNF investigative reporter, was kicked off Twitter in March, 2019, after making a joke about Democratic Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper. Hickenlooper stated in an interview with Buzzfeed Editor-in-Chief Ben Smith that people should “sharpen their other abilities,” to which Chuck Ross responded, “Learn to code.”
To make his joke, Chuck Ross quoted a Slate reporter who had uploaded a clip of Smith and Hickenlooper’s interview. Ross’ account was suspended until he erased the offending tweet, according to Twitter, which believed he was engaging in targeted harassment targeting journalists.
Ross attempted to overturn the lock, but after finding that the procedure could take several days, he Deleted the tweet and regained access to his account. Even then, Chuck Ross was only able to browse the platform and send direct messages for the next 12 hours and could not tweet from his account.
Chuck Ross’ account was restricted “in error” after four days and repeated questions to Twitter clarifying the context of the joke, according to a source familiar with the situation.
With the above incident and numerous other similar incidents, it wouldn’t be wrong for us to assume that Twitter is a biased platform, who conveniently try to halt the people with the garb of “in error” or “technical hindrance” who belong to right wing, be it America or India.

Ross’s previous works
Chuck Ross previously wrote a blog which contained relatively racial and offensive comments about the black community, realizing that what he did was a mistake he deleted the blog and apologized for his comments. He also further said that, he knows everything better now and that he wasn’t actually trying to mock anyone. “
I didn’t really care about it, I didn’t really believe in it even then, and I’m really sorry that I wrote it.” Owing up to your mistakes is seen as a strength and when someone does that, the “Liberal” media like The Washington Post, rather than supporting them for their transformation, mocks them, this only shows their dearth of knowledge and failed attempt in “restoring democracy.”
