Miyoko Chilombo (born Miyoko Aminah-Khalil Chilombo) is an actress from the United States. Her work in the short family flick Kidsongs has made her famous. She debuted in 1991’s “Kidsongs: Very Silly Songs” as a replacement for ShVaughn Heath.
“Kidsongs: Play-Along Songs” featured Miyoko in a cameo role. She also appeared in the “Kidsongs: We Wish You a Merry Christmas” video from 1992.

Chilombo was a member of the Gyrl girl group in the 1990s and appeared in numerous music videos, including those for adolescent sensation Immature and global superstars Michael Jackson and Prince.

Family of Miyoko Chilombo

Miyoko Chilombo is a beautiful and talented woman of mixed heritage. Her father’s side is African, German, Jewish, and American, while her mother’s side is Spanish, Dominican, Japanese, and American.

She was raised in Ladera Heights, Los Angeles, in a multiracial family with four other siblings. Her siblings are likewise well-known in their respective circles. Miyoko was born on March 30, 1981, in Los Angeles, California, to father Karamo Asheber N. Chilombo and mother Christina Yamamoto as the firstborn child.

Karamo’s father, Gregory Wycliff Barnes, worked as a doctor for many years. Karamo and Christina were married in 1980, but they divorced in 2000.

Miyoko has three younger siblings, who are currently known as Mila J, Jahi, and Jhene Aiko. Miyagi, one of her siblings, died in 2012 at the age of roughly 26.

Miyoko’s younger sister Jamila Akiko Aba Chilombo popularly known as Mila J is an American songwriter, dancer, singer, and rapper.
