Weisman, who was born in Hollywood, Florida to Betsy and David Weisman, is most known for playing Mary Bennington in the 1990 film Three Men and a Little Lady, alongside Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, and Ted Danson.
She also starred alongside Hulk Hogan in Thunder in Paradise.
Weisman graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. On December 20, 2008, she married her childhood sweetheart John Kabot in a Jewish wedding. Alex Weisman’s older sister, Robin, is a Broadway performer. Alex Weisman is a stage actor best known for portraying Posner in TimeLine Theatre Company’s premiere production of The History Boys. He is Robin Weisman’s younger brother. Weisman was assaulted on a Manhattan subway platform in November 2020. In the incident, Weisman sustained a damaged retina and a skull injury.
Weisman’s portrayal as Posner in TimeLine Theatre’s The History Boys earned him two Chicago Jeff Equity Awards, including Best Supporting Actor in a Play and Best Ensemble.
