Abhinaya is a Tamil and Telugu actress and model who works mostly in Tamil and Telugu films. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film Naadodigal (2009) and has since starred in a number of Tamil and Telugu films. Career
While looking for a new face for his film Nadodigal, director Samuthirakani came across Abhinaya in an ad agency’s portfolio.
After the success of Naadodigal and positive reviews for Abhinaya’s performance, he cast her in the Telugu adaptation Shambo Shiva Shambo, and she was also cast in the Kannada remake Hudugaru.
Her performances in Naadodigal and Shambo Shiva Shambo the next year earned her two Filmfare Awards. Easan (2010), directed by Sasikumar, featured her in a pivotal role. In 2011, A. R. Murugadoss cast her in the film 7aam Arivu with Suriya in a supporting role.
Actress Abhinaya had three Telugu releases in 2012. She played the sister of Jr. NTR’s and Nagarjuna’s characters in Dammu and Dhamarukam, respectively, and a Muslim character in Genius. In the same year, she landed her first main part in the Telugu film Chandrudu, in which she starred alongside Krishnudu, but the film’s release was postponed.
She appeared in tiny supporting roles in the Telugu family drama Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2013) and the Tamil action masala movie Veeram (2014) and Hari’s Poojai as part of an ensemble cast. After long delays, Abhinaya’s first Malayalam film, The Reporter, was released in 2015. In the same year, she made her Bollywood debut in a small role in R. Balki’s Shamitabh.
Vizhithiru, in which she plays a radio jockey, and Mela Thalam are two of her upcoming flicks.

Her father had observed and encouraged her passion for modeling and acting since she was a child. She eventually got into the film industry at the age of 17. Abhinaya, who enjoys Sudoku and pets, has dropped out of Std X to focus on her job. Abhinaya’s father acted as a minor artist in a few supporting roles in Tamil and Telugu films.
