Ukraine had a terrific plan to use ‘dirty bombs’ against Donbas’ residents but it got exposed

Ukraine’s nefarious motives have been exposed by Russia. Ukraine, drunk on the euphoria of victory, resorted to attacking the Crimean bridge a few weeks earlier after gaining a few square kilometres in its counter-offensive.

This time, it planned to go a step further. It planned to use the ‘dirty bomb.’

The ‘Dirty Bomb’ mystery

Over the past several days, Russia’s defense minister Sergey has held talks with the US, the UK, France, India, China and Turkey regarding Russian intelligence which suggests that Ukraine may be planning on using the “dirty bomb.” Now, what’s a dirty bomb?

Well, a dirty bomb is a form of “radiological dispersal device (RDD)” designed to contaminate a vast region with radioactivity without requiring a nuclear explosion, thus, making it hazardous for occupants or uninhabitable. They have long been regarded as a possible terrorist weapon since their main purpose is to spread radioactive dust and smoke into the air, causing panic, uncertainty, and anxiety. US intelligence has long raised the possibility of dirty bombs being brought into the country. In fact, warnings about possible al-Qaeda plots to detonate a dirty bomb in Times Square or at a college football game date back to 2003.

Russia’s allegation and Western reactions

The Kremlin claimed in its letter to the UN that Ukraine is getting ready to explode a dirty bomb so it may be blamed on Russia and compel an escalation of the war, which is now in its ninth month. In a 310-page paper distributed to the security council, the Kremlin repeated previously refuted assertions that Kyiv and its western supporters had been developing a bioweapon.

West Europe faces a number of challenges at the same time, including sky-high energy costs, anti-war demonstrations, and significant political instability, as it continues to provide Ukraine with weapons. Additionally, Western analysis appears to continue to ignore Ukraine’s earlier effort to detonate a dirty bomb-like catastrophe when they bombarded the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant after it fell under Russian territorial control.

Ukraine’s and US’ nefarious plans to blame Russia

Recently, Ukraine has upped its ante against Russia as the midterm elections in the US draw near. Biden has nothing to show on the home front as the inflation has been rising and people are aggrieved. He also doesn’t have anything to show in Ukraine to which it has sent billions of dollars of American taxpayers’ money. A dirty bomb could come in handy in that case.

It can direct an unprecedented wave of international outrage at the apparent perpetrator of the attack. Ukraine and its western counterparts would blame the ‘dirty bomb’ attack on Russia. It won’t be the first time that Russia would be blamed. Just recently, Kyiv and west has blamed Russia for sabotaging its Nord Stream pipelines and the Crimean bridge. It could use the ‘dirty bombs’ in Donbas and blame it on Russia for silencing the people of Donbas. For a very minor loss of life, it might have a significant impact on atrocity propaganda done by West. And as seen in some of the most well-known historical incidents, it would be hard to dispute the atrocity’s claim. However, just before Ukraine could use the ‘dirty bombs’, Russia got to know about it. Due to the breach, there has been a lot of activity in the western counterparts of Ukraine. The British Defence Secretary had to go to Washington the same day. And now, CIA director William Burns just made an unannounced stop in Ukraine.

Clearly, the ‘dirty bomb’ was an important part of western strategy. And Russia has nipped it in the bud.
