Dudheshwar Nath Mandir – Guide

Shri Dudheshwar Nath Mahadev Mandir is completely dedicated to Lord Shiva. Shri Dudheshwar Nath Temple is an ancient temple which is very famous in Delhi NCR. This temple is in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh state of India, which comes under Delhi NCR limits.

The main gate of Dudheshwar Nath Mandir is carved out of a single stone. Ganesh ji is present in the middle of the door, which has been made by carving this stone. Some people believe that this temple was built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

History of this Temple

It is believed that the history of Shri Dudheshwar Nath Mahadev Mandir is 5000 years old. According to scriptures, the description of Jyotiling in Hiranayagarbha on the banks of river Haranandi is found in the Puranas, where Vishwasravas, the son of Pulastya and father of Ravana, did severe penance.

Ravana also worshiped in this temple. With the passage of time the name of Haranandi river was lost. Hiranyagarbha Jyotirlinga is the self-manifested divine Shivling established three and a half feet below the ground in the Dudheshwar Mahadev Math temple.

Morning opening time of the Dudheshwar Nath Mandir is from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Evening opening time is from 5:00 PM to 9.00 PM. Morning Aarti timing is 4:00 AM, and Evening Aarti : Depend on sunset timing (between 05:30 PM to 7:30 PM).

Chhota Haridwar

Chhota Haridwar is a prominent place in Ghaziabad. There is a beautiful ghat on the banks of the Ganges canal here, which is called Chhota Haridwar. This place is famous all over Ghaziabad and surrounding areas. This place is located in Muradnagar in Ghaziabad. There is a bathing ghat here and you can do bone immersion here.

Manan Dham

Manan Dham is a famous temple in Ghaziabad district. This temple is built on National Highway 58 in Muradnagar in Ghaziabad district. This temple is situated on the main highway road. You can come here for a walk. This temple is built in a very systematic way. The entire temple is made of white marble. It feels great to come here. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the temple you get to see many deities.

City Forest

City Forest is a major landmark of Ghaziabad. Here you get to see the beautiful view of nature all around. The City Forest is built on the banks of the Hindon River in Ghaziabad. The City Forest is developed by the Ghaziabad Development Authority and is maintained by the Ghaziabad Development Authority. Here you can enjoy boating.

By Air- The nearest airport from this temple is Indira Gandhi International Airport which is at a distance of nearly 40 kilometres from this temple. From here you can easily reach Dudheshwar Nath Mandir by using local transport services or taxi.

By Train- The Nearest railway station from this temple is Ghaziabad Railway Station which is at a distance of nearly ½ kilometres from Shri Dudheshwar Nath Mandir. From here you can easily reach this temple by using local transport services or taxi.

By metro- Nearest Metro Station is Vaishali Metro Station which at a distance of nearly 13 kilometres from Shri Dudheshwar Nath Mandir. From here you can easily reach this temple by using local transport services or taxi.
