Panki Hanuman Mandir – Guide
Panki Hanuman Mandir and Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman is an ancient and famous temple of Kanpur Uttar Pradesh, which is completely dedicated to Lord Hanuman. People come not only from Kanpur but from all over India to seek the blessings of Lord Hanuman ji at Panki Hanuman Mandir. The person who comes to this temple with a true heart to seek the blessings and darshan of Lord Hanuman, his wishes are fulfilled.
History of this Temple
Although there is no real evidence available about the history of the temple, but according to legend, this temple is about 400 years old. It was founded by Shri 1008 Mahant Parshotam Das ji. It is also believed that the Panki Hanuman Mandir was established before the establishment of the city of Kanpur. It is said that Mahant ji was once returning from Chitrakoot. Then at the place where Panki’s temple is there, he saw such a rock on which Bajrang Bali could be seen.
Just then, they decided to build the temple at that very spot. Today the same temple is known as Panki Mandir. It is believed that Lord Hanuman is seen in divine form in the Panki temple.

Open and Close Timings of Panki Hanuman Mandir is at Morning : 5:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm and on Every Tuesday : 4:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Aarti Timings of this Temple is at Morining : 5:30 am, at Evening : 9:00 pm. On Every Tuesday aarti timing is at Morinng 4:00 am, Evening : 11:30 pm.

Budha Bargad
The name Budha Bargad literally meaning an old banyan tree is one of the important historical monuments of the city of Kanpur. The banyan tree here is now dead but its monument can still be seen in Nana Rao Park. This is the place which was the center of the Revolt of 1857 and where 144 Indian revolutionaries were hanged. Jajmau
Jajmau is an ancient area dating back to 1300-1200 BC which is believed to be one of the largest tanneries in North India. The city is situated near the river Ganges and was home to the oldest of the Indian civilizations.
