“Trudeau’s Future in Jeopardy: Can He Win Another Election?”

Thar said, governments aren’t voted in as much as they’re punted out. And probably the next elections in Canada are going to be a testimony to this fact. The next election is about Justin Trudeau.

Trudeau thinks wearing patriotism on his feet will let him win the elections. But we all know how much of a flag-waver he is. A leader who is way too stylish or should I say way too star-warrish is in power in Canada but the real question is till when? Till when will Canada bear his leadership for all of the coolest reasons?

The stylish Canadian leader is the worst of the collection of the federal party leaders Canadians have seen in nearly half a century.

Trudeau signifies a nadir in the calibre of political leadership which is afflicting not only Canada but the Western world. A leader who can’t get a single trade deal done with anyone. One who has a creepy sock fetish. One who has more selfies than a class of teenage girls. One who taxes even cow farts. One who increased the number of personal pronouns to 50. He who thinks Canada is 100 years old instead of 150. He who believes terrorists deserve to keep their Canadian citizenship. Such is the persona of the leader. Now, what do you think? Can Trudeau win the upcoming elections? Well, if he loses, then sadly the country will lose the greatest actor Canada can ever see.

The probability of Justin Trudeau winning these elections is like a snowball’s chance in hell. Canada languishes on various fronts owing to the substandard federal and provincial leadership.

The liberal leader has himself played the uncertainty in his speech a few days back, identifying the upcoming parliamentary season as a consequential one with political hazards that could trip the country into another early election. “We’re in a minority Parliament, and we need to be ready for anything,” Trudeau told Liberal MPs ahead of the return of the House of Commons. “There are two leaders today that you have to choose between,” he said in reference to Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre.

“We are still in delivery mode,” Trudeau said in French after being asked if his government is aiming to walk the talk on promises made in the last campaign.

The federal liberals have failed to deal with all sorts of crises gripping Canada. Crises that are of its own making. The country is gripped in its worst housing crisis which is affecting the youngest and poorest Canadians who are already economically vulnerable. Housing costs are skyrocketing in the country. Not just this, the country is also seeing a major food crisis. Food and grocery prices in the country are soaring at an all-time high. Households in Canada are struggling to make their ends meet and what is the PM doing? He might be savouring a meal in some plush restaurant.

Moreover, Trudeau has risked the lives of a million innocent Canadians under his watch. Healthcare of the country is on ventilator support. Hospital emergency rooms are experiencing a crisis with backlogs, delayed services, and temporary closures. And what is Trudeau doing to counter that? Just giving fake hopes of aid to the healthcare sector.

We all know Canada has great reserves of rare-earth minerals, oil and gas but are they getting used to their full potential? Certainly not. Oil and gas industries are being shut down owing to Trudeau’s green madness and the rare-earth sector has already been taken over by Canada’s friend China.

Trudeau’s inactiveness and absent-mindedness confirms the uneasy suspicion. Suspicion of him being a teenage boy dressed up in grown-up clothes who’s incapable of growing up as he moves into chronological midlife. Seven years in power and he has done nothing other than putting the country’s economy, nearly every sector and future of Canada on a deathbed.

Canada is home to three prairies who are the bread baskets of the western world. The provinces have the true potential to resuscitate the tattered economy of the country owing to their huge resources. But will Trudeau ever let that happen? No. Instead he is always scouting for opportunities to bring them down. From bringing anti-prairie policies to even deliberately omitting Alberta while name checking Canada’s provinces and territories the PM has done everything in his hand to crush their existence.

The possibility of Justin Trudeau getting re-elected in upcoming elections is as frail as his promises. Under his watch, Canada’s gross domestic output per person fell by 1.3 percent, which contrasts sharply with the 1.2 percent rise observed before 2020. Trudeau’s progressive agenda could be curtailed by the weakening economy, which would increase Poilievre’s appeal to a wider segment of Canadians.

It still seems unpredictable who will emerge as power brokers in the next government but what’s highly likely is that Canadians have lost their patience with Justin Trudeau and his liberal party.
