Defence manufacturing company opens Trudeau’s casket of corruption

Thales: When it comes to safety and security of a nation and its people, the number one priority for any country is to strengthen and safeguard its defense sector and make sure it is not compromised at any cost. It is so obvious right?

But when the nation is Canada and your Prime Minister is Trudeau, finding things obvious is just like finding a needle in a haystack.

Do Canadians really know the truth about their defense sector? Or is the Government of Canada keeping its people blindfolded? what if we tell you that the backbone of the entire defense system of Canada is in the hands of a different country, and that too China.

Thales, a technology company is one of the leading suppliers of national defense systems and cyber security services with a full range of solutions from early warning to threat neutralization etc., to various countries including Canada. The Canadian army and government entrust Thales with helping them achieve and maintain security, tactical superiority and strategic independence in the face of any type of threat.

So, what is the problem here?

Partnered with Thales, and providing defence for Canada, is none other than Huawei. Huawei is a privately held Chinese telecommunication company and a leader in sales of telecommunications equipment based in Shenzhen, China. Which means an alarming quantity of the Canada’s defense and security data is accessible to this Chinese company.

But how does that risk Canada’s sovereignty?

China’s Huawei is already facing accusations that Beijing could use its 5G infrastructure for espionage in the U.S. In fact, many other countries also claim that Huawei threatens their national security saying it has violated international sanctions and stolen intellectual property, and that it could commit cyber espionage. Many U.S. policymakers view Huawei as a commercial extension of the Chinese Communist party. It is suspected that the Chinese government can use the company for spying purposes. However, Huawei denies these accusations.

We at TFI have also previously informed you how Canadian universities have for years collaborated with a top Chinese army scientific institution that is just using bright Canadian brains to strengthen its own military and hence gain a tactical advantage in the great power rivalry between Beijing and the US-led Western bloc.

The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) has even warned that Beijing is increasingly using joint academic research programs to obtain innovative science and technology for economic and military advantage.

Despite the fact that Canadians have numerous reasons to dislike and fear China, their Prime Minister appears to have a childlike faith in the country. Let me give you a rough figure of this faith. Huawei partnered Thales has received contracts of more than $437 million from Canada since 2009.

Wait, there is more!

Huawei, a company which is banned  by Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan and the U.S  to secure their national sovereignty  is chosen by the  Canadian government to provide defense solutions to their country, insanity at its core!

What adds fuel to the fire is Huawei – partnered Thales has got such a blind trust of Canada that the company doesn’t even need bid for these contracts. All the contracts are just given to them directly by the Trudeau government.

Should a company that could be really dangerous to the national interest of Canada be awarded with responsibility of defense sector? Even a naïve person in geopolitics would say no! but thanks to Trudeau, the Chinese company is “enriching” the Canadian Defense Systems.

Slow claps for the Prime Minister for selling his country’s security just for the sake of proving his loyalty to none other than Xi Jinping.
