After this incident in the 14th century, they built a Nag Devta Mandir in Uttarakhand.

It was believed that a poisonous snake lived in the Yamuna town named Kalinaga in Vrindavan, which was defeated by Lord Krishna. Kalinaga recognized the greatness of Lord Krishna and surrendered.
