Trudeau’s words intended to harm Canada’s Trump, yes, Pierre Poilevre, have turned out to be actually beneficial for him.
The elections are still two years away in Canada, but, Trudeau’s plans of using fear psychosis are just not letting him sleep. Conservatism is roaring back in Canada amidst the woke assault and in this heating battleground, Pierre Poilevre is coming as a top dog.
The lead of the conservative party in Canada is increasing day by day. Conservatives have an 8-point lead over the Liberals as 70%+ Canadians now don’t think the Liberal government is focused enough on the cost of living, healthcare, or housing.
In this lead, we all know, Pierre Poilevre’s strongman image, and fierce anti-Trudeau sentiments played a crucial role.
Trudeau knows that his political carrier is hanging by a thread and so, has done something very stupid to save himself. Well, you might think, he is always stupid, but this time, his stupidity is just too epic.
In an effort to topple the conservative leader, Trudeau has compared Pierre Poilevre to Donald Trump to gain votes, but in vain.
Canada’s Trump= USA’s Trump
This month, Trudeau is back on the campaign trail, warning that the former president of the USA is now coming to rule Canada—and this time in the form of Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre.
In fact, the frequency with which Liberals have invoked the ghost of Trump this week to criticize Poilievre has increased tremendously.
In an apparent reference to Trump’s campaign promise to construct a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, the Canadian Queen mocked Poilievre last week, saying Pierre wants to “build a Trump-style wall” at the Canada-U.S. border to stop the flow of refugees at Roxham Road in Quebec.
Additionally, Liberal MP Jennifer O’Connell charged Pierre and conservatives of using “Trump-type tactics” to undermine democracy when a Commons committee was discussing potential Chinese interference in the most recent federal election.

Epicness of Stupidity
Here is a reality check for Justin Trudeau. The Canadian PM thinks that by resonating with Poilevre to Trump, he can bring the Canadians back to his bastion, but to be honest, he is only helping Pierre Poilevre.
The reality that the majority of Canadian conservatives support Donald Trump and his America first agenda is not an open secret anymore.
To tell you a number, six million Canadians, pollsters estimate, support Donald Trump or the Trumpism ideology.
You might be amazed but let me tell you, the figure is more than the entire population of British Columbia. It’s a figure that’s difficult to digest for the liberal party and at the same time, also demonstrates how vulnerable Canada is to US political currents.

Trudeau thinks that by resonating Poilevre with Trump, the liberals will be able to make some progress on an already-lost battleground. But it doesn’t appear that this is happening.
The liberals must understand that this act of comparison is more of Pierre’s promotion just before the elections making sure Poilevre crushes the Liberal party entirely.
