Popular attraction of Jaipur, Raj Mandir Cinema was conceptualized by Mehtab Chandra Golcha in the late 1960s. Which was one of his dream projects which he wanted to build as a stylish and elegant cinema hall. The majestic architecture of the building includes an artistic quality that gives a sense of mystery and illusion that each one who visits finds it fascinating.

Raj Mandir Cinema deserves the “Pride of Asia” for its magnificent architecture, and is currently one of the largest halls in the continent.

History of this place

The history of Raj Mandir cinema is believed to be linked to the modern era. The foundation stone of the Raj Mandir Cinema building, designed by architect WM Namjoshi, was laid in 1966 by Mr. Mohanlal Sukhadia, the then Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The construction of which took almost a decade to complete and the Raj Mandir Cinema was inaugurated in 1976 by Shri Hari Dev Joshi. The first one was shown in 1976, a Hindi action movie called Charas directed by Ramanand Sagar.

There is a two show organise in Raj Mandir palace everyday. One is from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM and second is from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Birla Mandir is a major tourist attraction in Jaipur and a temple that is one of the many Birla temples in the country. This temple is also known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple which temple is situated on Moti Dungri hill.

The temple of Khatu Shyam Ji is the most popular temple among the temples of Lord Krishna in the country of India. Let us tell you that Khatu Shyam ji is considered to be the most famous God of Kalyug.

By Train- The nearest railway station from Raj Mandir is Jaipur railway station which is at a distance of few kms from this place. From here you can easily reach raj Mandir by using local transport services or taxi.

By Road- Roads to this place are well connected with the other cities of the country so you can easily reach this temple by using your own vehicle or by any public buses or taxi from any part of the country.
