Mexico is reclaiming its cultural heritage, and this time, it is a giant stone statue called the “Earth monster.” The statue dates back to the Olmec civilization before the Christian era, and it weighs more than a ton. It is almost six feet tall and five feet wide, making it one big dude!

The Olmec civilization was known for creating colossal stone heads, statues, and upright slabs, and their artisans were just top-notch! The Earth monster is just one of many examples of their incredible craftsmanship.
