Bajnamath Bhairav Mandir of Jabalpur is known mainly for it’s Tantra Sadhana. This temple is counted among the main temples of the country. Along with the mountain, the pond, the natural view is present in this temple. There is not a single hole in the temple, due to which even the slightest sound starts echoing here. Inside is the idol of Bhairav, a part of Lord Shiva.

History of this Temple

Bajnamath Bhairav Mandir was built in 1520 AD by Raja Sangram Shah in the name of Bhairav ​​Mandir. The Gond rulers had built this temple. King Sangram Shah used to specially come here to worship. It is said that this temple was very popular in his state and most of the people of the state used to come here to worship. It is said that the power is awakened by the natural sound-waves coming out of the trident from the dome of this monastery. Devotees tell that people have got miraculous benefits by worshiping at Bajnamath. Offering oil and flowers here gives relief from the pain of Shani and Rahu.

Bajnamath Bhairav Mandir opens at 8:00 AM in the morning and close at 6:00 PM in the evening. Morning aarti is performed at 9:00 AM in the morning and evening aarti is performed at 5:00 PM in the evening.
