Donald Trump return: In the world of politics, there are few rivalries as intense as that between Justin Trudeau and Donald Trump. While Donald Trump is no longer in power, his possible return to the presidency is a source of anxiety for many, including Justin Trudeau.
Recently, allegations of academic fraud have been made against a Trump ally, suggesting that Justin Trudeau is worried about the possibility of return of Donald Trump to power.
Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, is not a fan of Donald Trump. The two leaders have had their share of public spats in the past, and it seems that Trudeau is worried about the possibility of Trump returning to power. In fact, Trudeau’s fear of a Trump comeback has led him to start targeting Trump supporters, even before Trump is elected.
Recently, allegations of academic fraud have been made against Doug Mastriano, a former PhD student who is a high-profile ally of Donald Trump. Mastriano’s doctoral dissertation from 2013 has been called into question by several scholars who allege that it contains factual errors, fabrications, omissions, and amateurish archeology. Mastriano has dismissed these allegations as being politically motivated, claiming that “left-leaning professors” at the University of New Brunswick (UNB) are unable to deal with his political views and military background.
Trudeau’s targeting of Trump supporters is evident in his response to the allegations against Mastriano. Rather than allowing the investigation to take its course, Trudeau has taken the opportunity to attack Mastriano and, by extension, Trump supporters. Trudeau’s actions clearly suggest that he is worried about the possibility of return of Donald Trump to power and is trying to discredit anyone associated with him.

Trump and Trudeau have had a rocky relationship in the past. In 2019, Trump called Trudeau “two-faced” after a video surfaced of Trudeau apparently mocking Trump behind his back. More recently, Trump criticized Trudeau’s handling of the Trucker’s protest in Canada, calling him a “far-left lunatic” who has “destroyed Canada with insane COVID mandates.”
Trudeau’s fear of return of Donald Trump to power was also evident in his recent visit to New York, where he expressed concern about the future of American democracy. Trudeau took a veiled swipe at Trump, saying that the value of American democracy was being devalued and taken for granted by many citizens.

Trudeau’s targeting of Trump supporters and his concerns about the future of American democracy suggest that he is worried about the possibility of Trump returning to power. While Trump has not yet announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election, his supporters are already gearing up for another run. Trudeau’s actions suggest that he sees Trump’s return to power as a real possibility and is taking steps to discredit anyone associated with him. As the 2024 election approaches, it will be interesting to see how Trudeau and other world leaders respond to the possibility of another Trump presidency.
