In one fell move Trudeau declares himself bigger than the church

Justin Trudeau is not even trying to hide his anti-Christian objective anymore under the guise of overthrowing the monarchy

The Prince of Wales is now officially the King of Britain. Charles III has taken the throne amidst a declining Commonwealth. First, Australia and New Zealand said “thanks, but no thanks” to the monarchy, and now Canada is following suit but with a twist.

The Trudeau government has swapped out Christian symbols on the Royal Coat of Arms for some truly Canadian icons – snowflakes, stars, and maple leaves. Talk about a “cool” makeover! The Liberal Party is calling it the new “Canadian Crown”, but they’ll have to get the approval of King Charles III first.

For the unaware, the Royal Coat of Arms has been around since 1921, but with these changes, it’s definitely a coat of a different color. With no touch of Christianity and so, the change has opened a closet of criticism.

The Trudeau Crown

The Tudor Crown is the official crown symbol of King Charles III, exuding regal elegance and time-honored tradition. However, Canada has taken a different approach. Journalist John Ivison has condemned the move, calling the new design a “paper crown” and a “cartoon crown” that will not resonate with the public.

As per him, the new design is the “Trudeau Crown” design, created in such a way that it replaces all Christian and religious symbols with striking symbols of Canadian identity – maple leaves, snowflakes, and stars. Sadly, this change draws the entire affair into the realm of politics. The Liberals see this as a bold and progressive move, but this is a sure-shot departure from the nation’s historical roots.

Attack on Christianity?

Trudeau’s decision to discard both the Christian cross and the fleur-de-lis symbolizing the French contribution to Canada’s founding is an attack on Canadian culture.

Christianity has been a cornerstone of Canada’s foundation, and while the nation is not without fault, it has become a beacon of hope for immigrants of all backgrounds, striving to make amends with First Nations.

However, JT and the Liberals have a habit of rubbing Christians the wrong way. Remember when Trudeau demanded prospective party candidates support several things that were against Christianity? Some Christians felt this was a purity test, excluding pro-life folks from the nomination process. Critics argued it went against the party’s inclusive spirit, allowing diverse social views.

The idea that immigrants are offended by our Christian heritage is a Liberal obsession that needs to be put to bed. Canada’s history is a rich tapestry woven over centuries, responsible for our prosperity and human rights today.

Say whatever, a mere snowflake or maple leaf won’t cut it, Trudeau. You can’t replace a 2,000-year-old tradition that’s helped shape Canada with something that melts away or gets raked up in the fall.

The liberals must have missed the memo that wokeism and cultural sensitivity don’t give you a license to erase Canada’s Christian heritage. This attempt to replace centuries-old religious symbols with snowflakes and maple leaves is like using a Band-Aid on a broken leg – it won’t do the trick. It’s time to rethink your approach, Trudeau.
