The actual reason behind the Canadian housing crisis has been revealed and it’s the Housing Ministry of Canada.
The Canadian housing crisis has been going on for a long time, and there is no solution in sight. Despite the urgent need for action, the current liberal government appears to be doing little to address the issue. Indeed, some critics argue that the housing ministry is boosting property prices and capturing a huge market share, leaving many Canadians out in the cold.

The cost of renting or buying a home has risen dramatically for many people, leaving them with little money for other necessities. This has resulted in a slew of issues, including more homelessness, mounting debt, and increased family stress.
Canadians are dissatisfied with the government’s inaction.
Despite the circumstances, the government has been slow to act. And why would the government intervene? When they are truly gaining from the circumstance. Yes.
Recent news reports show that some politicians may be minting profits from the housing crisis. According to a Vancouver Sun story, “many Canadian politicians belong to the landlord class, and we should question their motivations.” This shows that certain politicians are more interested with personal benefit than with assisting Canadians in finding cheap housing.
The public should be concerned that a disproportionate number of its legislators are landowners.
It’s concerning that one-third of Ottawa’s cabinet ministers – the people making critical choices affecting the cost of owning and renting – derive significant personal wealth from housing.
While Canadians are struggling to make ends meet, Liberal MPs are just scouting for a modest place to rent. In addition to Liberal cabinet ministers with real estate holdings, including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, Housing Minister Ahmed Hussen, and cabinet ministers David Lametti and Francois-Philippe Champagne, 38% of MPs from all parties are real estate financiers or landlords.
Last year, 62 Liberal MPs received money from investment properties in some form or other, as did 54 Conservative MPs (including leader Pierre Poilievre); six Bloc Quebecois MPs; four NDP MPs (not including leader Jagmeet Singh); and Green party Leader Elizabeth May.
In general, federal and provincial politicians in Canada invest, if not speculate, in real estate at a rate that is more than double that of the general public.

It might be dismaying for daily Canadians to learn that Metro Vancouver and Toronto are ruled by Liberal MPs with extensive ties to real estate: these two cities are among the most expensive in the world. More than 20 Liberal MPs in Greater Toronto own real estate. This also stands true for at least nine Metro Vancouver Liberal MPs.
It looks clear that the Canadian Housing Ministry, along with many liberal MPs, tried to artificially inflate housing prices through their regular property purchases.
It’s easy to understand how this could be the case. Property owners are making big gains as house prices continue to increase. Meanwhile, those who cannot afford to buy or rent are forced to make do with less. Many have questioned if the administration is truly interested in assisting those in need, or if they are simply profiteering from the situation. It’s time for the government to step up and take action to help those in need.
