New Brunswick Surprises Trudeau with a really unexpected gift in Pride Month

As Pride Month unfolds, the impact of this unexpected gift from New Brunswick remains to be seen

It’s June, and you know what that means—Trudeau’s favorite month! No, it’s not because it’s his birthday or his wife’s birthday. It’s pride month, the time when rainbows and colors take center stage.

In Canada, no, actually in the whole West, June is Pride Month—a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community’s diversity, honor their history, recognize the hardships they’ve faced, and acknowledge the progress that has been made.

Even Trudeau’s beloved CBC has a special section for kids to learn about LGBTQ+ and gender fluidity independently. So, naturally, this month holds a special place in his heart.

But wait, hold on a minute! The province of New Brunswick has burst into the scene like the Grinch, trying to spoil Trudeau’s gay party. Yes, you heard it right—the usually silent province has done something that made Trudeau shed a tear, and no, it wasn’t because they ruined his pride parade float.

New Brunswick’s policy

The New Brunswick government is under fire from Ottawa, and even the Prime Minister himself, for a new education policy that seems to target transgender kids, actually it’s for protection. Premier Blaine Higgs is pushing changes to sexual orientation policies in schools, specifically Policy 713, which would require children under 16 to get parental consent before changing their names or pronouns at school.

Now, Trudeau finds himself in a bit of a pickle because he can’t peddle his woke agenda in this province. Just imagine the sadness and loathing on his face as he realizes he can’t spread his agenda under the guise of inclusivity. Poor Trudeau!

The Canadian Prime Minister, Queen Trudeau went as far as categorizing the Blaine Higgs government as “far-right political actors” inflicting “cruelty and isolation” on vulnerable people. He made these remarks at a Rainbow Railroad Freedom Party in Toronto, a not-for-profit organization that helps LGBTQI+ individuals escape persecution in their home countries.

Trudeau’s words echoed his disappointment and frustration with the changes in New Brunswick. But Premier Blaine Higgs remained undeterred, brushing off Trudeau’s remarks and emphasizing that the changes aim to strike a balance that includes parents. Higgs even suggested that Trudeau was merely playing to the audience he was with.

But, let us appreciate New Brunswick for a moment here. What a gift New Brunswick has given to Trudeau during his favorite month! They’ve put a wrench in his plans, preventing him from spreading his agenda in the name of rights and humanity. At least spare the kids, Trudeau!

As June continues, we’ll see how this unexpected gift from New Brunswick plays out. But, yeah one thing’s for sure—it’s a pride month surprise he won’t forget anytime soon.
