Just like France, Canada is sitting on a Powder-Keg ready to explode anytime soon

Last week has been an absolute rollercoaster for our European friends in France. It seems that the Frankenstein monster they nurtured for years has suddenly decided to wreak havoc on their streets. Marseille resembles a post-apocalyptic wasteland, and pro-Islamist forces have unleashed a veritable storm of unrest throughout the country.

French President Emmanuel Macron is undoubtedly having a rough time trying to control the situation, and he’s even managed to earn himself the title of “France’s Justin Trudeau.” Well, let’s face it, they’re not entirely wrong about that comparison.

But enough about France, let’s divert our attention to Canada for a moment and ponder what could possibly go wrong because a recent arrest in Montreal is a clear indicator that even Canada is sitting on a powder keg.

Riots Averted in Montreal!

Over the weekend, a particularly eventful arrest took place in Montreal as a group of enthusiastic youths held demonstrations in support of the riots in France. It all started with the police shooting of 17-year-old Nahel Merzouk.

Now, I’m not one to judge, but the young lad was driving without a license, speeding, and then thought it would be a splendid idea to run a red light in an attempt to flee from the authorities.

As reported by the trusty Le Journal De Montreal, a rowdy bunch of youths gathered in front of the Eaton Centre on Sainte-Catherine Street, seemingly with the noble goal of causing disorder.

Oh, how noble indeed! Instagram posts obtained by Le Journal revealed calls for violence at the protest. “We do like the riots in France, (we) have to break everything,” reads one of the posts. “Bring your equipment and share (the protest) on your story.” My, oh my, how positively heartwarming!

But fear not, dear viewers/readers, for the authorities were prepared. A heavy police presence greeted the protesters downtown, ensuring that their cries for chaos would not go unnoticed.

And just when you thought the drama was over, news broke that certain individuals were planning a destructive raid at the Galeries D’Anjou mall in suburban Montreal. “It’s going to blow, be ready,” exclaimed a poster promoting this riot obtained by La Presse.

Alarm Bells Ringing

Although a major crisis has been averted for now, tension still lingers in Montreal. These miscreants won’t rest until they achieve their goals. It’s worth noting that Quebec and Ontario, two of Canada’s prominent provinces, have generously welcomed a considerable number of Syrian refugees.

While the precise number of Islamist migrants remains unknown, it’s no secret that Quebec has plans to intake French-speaking migrants from Africa, where a significant portion of the population is Muslim and known for their prowess in creating a ruckus.

So, let’s not beat around the bush. Canada is sitting on a powder keg, and it desperately needs a firm grip to prevent things from spiraling out of control. Allowing these troublemakers a free hand could lead to catastrophic consequences.

It’s high time authorities exercise caution and implement stricter measures to maintain order before it’s too late. After all, nobody wants Canada to resemble a French riot party, do you?
