Poilievre sets Liberal Tents on Fire, the Screams are Extremely Pleasant

Our today’s story begins with Pierre Poilievre’s year-end interviews, causing a stir among liberals. Their extreme reaction led to an actual press conference addressing Pierre’s statements, displaying quite erratic behavior. But before diving into that, let’s take a look at Pierre’s interviews and uncover the reason behind the commotion.

Prepare to witness Pierre Poilievre labeling Justin Trudeau as an authoritarian, which made the liberals to absolutely cry on X.

In an interview with Andrew Lawton, Poilievre got asked about the hurdle for him in getting people who are not aligning themselves with the word conservative or the conservative party but he thinks will go along with his vision?

To which Poilievre replies, I believe it’s about engaging small-C conservatives and converting them into big-C Conservatives. In a recent meeting with the Tamil community, they expressed strong conservative values—family, business ownership, law enforcement, and patriotism. However, the party lacks ties with this community, so I’m focused on establishing personal connections, one by one, to ensure they vote in line with these conservative values.

“The other thing about our coalition is that there’s not going to be a liberal party in the Next election Justin Trudeau is of course is not a liberal he is a radical authoritarian he’s the opposite of liberal he’s very illiberal and so I’m going to be that.”

Pierre Poilievre nailed it perfectly! Describing Justin Trudeau as a radical authoritarian hits the mark—just look at the chaos Canadians endured over the last three years. Seriously, how else would you define him?

But that’s not all. Pierre’s interview with Rex Murphy at the National Post ruffled feathers on the left so much that NDP leader Rachel Gilmore posted a TikTok about it. The Liberals went on the offensive, attacking Poilievre for his remarks.

Now, here’s the amusing part: these liberals, for some reason, decided it was a brilliant idea to send Mark Gerretson to hold a press conference discussing Pierre Poilievre’s interviews. Trust me, it’s worth listening to—prepare for a good laugh.

The Liberals faced outright mockery for hosting that press conference. One journalist had the gall to question, “What’s with holding a press conference just to react to his year-end interviews? How defensive are you that you feel the need?” It’s pure comedy! This left the Liberals utterly speechless.

I mean, how absurdly foolish of the Liberals to arrange a press conference solely to address Pierre Poilievre’s interviews!

The Liberals are attempting to overshadow Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre after he was named Newsmaker of the Year by editors nationwide. They’re criticizing him for what he didn’t say during a year-end conversation with the National Post’s Rex Murphy.

On Tuesday, Liberal MPs Steven MacKinnon, filling in for Government House leader Karina Gould during her maternity leave, and Mark Gerretsen gathered the media in Ottawa. They aimed to highlight the perceived lack of scrutiny regarding Poilievre’s policies in the event he were to assume leadership.

“What we’ve seen in the last few days is Mr. Poilievre choosing some very comfy, fuzzy, little interview spaces where he can spew his right-wing stuff without really having any kind of aggressive questioning,” MacKinnon told reporters.

On Friday, Rex Murphy interviewed Poilievre regarding his inaugural year as leader of the Conservative party and his perspectives on the decline of the Liberals in the polls. Their discussion covered a spectrum of topics, including Canada’s energy policies, crime rates, and parental rights within schools.

Additionally, Poilievre engaged in year-end interviews recently, speaking in greater depth about his stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict with Brian Lilley from the Toronto Sun. He also delved into discussions about immigration, inflation, and free speech with Andrew Lawton from True North.

Pierre’s maneuvers have clearly unsettled the Liberals. They’re witnessing a notable Conservative surge while Pierre fosters unexpected rapport within the Liberal circle. Every passing day sees Conservative policies capturing the attention of Canadians, leaving the Liberals struggling to keep pace.

And a noteworthy update on the petition targeting Justin Trudeau: it’s now boasting nearly 400,000 signatures. That’s an incredible uptick of almost 100,000 signatures from just last week, underscoring the profound discontent Canadians hold toward Justin Trudeau. It’s a fervent outcry that resonates loud and clear across the nation.
