Russia suffers 9/11 style attack in Kazan: Ukrainian drones crashed into three residential buildings

A major drone (UAV) attack has taken place in Russia’s Kazan City. It has an striking similarity with the United State’s infamous 9/11 terror attacks. Regarding the latest attack in Kazan, the Russian officials stated that Ukrainian drones, in 9/11 fashion, crash into residential buildings in Russia’s Kazan. 

This attack was carried out in three high-rise buildings in Kazan city. According to the initial report and videos of the attack, Information about huge losses is coming to light.

Photos and videos of the incident are being shared on social media. It is clearly visible in the video that different UAVs came into the air and directly collided with a high-rise building in Kazan City.

Operational services are working at the site of the fire; all necessary assistance is being provided, and evacuated residents will be provided with food and accommodation.

The Russian Defence Ministry has also come up with the initial statement, in which they said they had destroyed one Ukrainian drone above the Kazan town. 

Speaking with Sputnik News, the Mayor’s office of Kazan said that as a result of a drone attack, a fire broke out in houses in three districts, Sovetsky, Kirovsky and Privolzhsky. 

This attack on the city of Kazan is being discussed all over the world because in the same year, 2024, the BRICS conference was held in this city in Russia. This attack is being described as similar to America’s 9/11 (World Trade Center) attack because the drone directly came and collided with the high-rise building the way two plans collided with the World Trade Center in 2001. 

The total number of casualties and the exact damage have not yet been released by the Russian official.
