On January 28, US President Donald Trump signed a visionary executive order named, ‘Protecting Children From Chemical and Surgical Mutilation.’ The purpose of this visionary document is to prevent medical professionals from maiming and sterilizing a growing number of impressionable children that are of below 19 years old under the radical and false claim that adults can change a child’s sex through a series of irreversible medical interventions.
According to the executive order, the US will not fund, sponsor, promote, assist, or support the so-called “transition” of a child from one sex to another, and it will rigorously enforce all laws that prohibit or limit these destructive and life-altering procedures. Here, “child” or “children” refers to individuals under 19. The term “pediatric” means relating to a child’s medical care. “Chemical and surgical mutilation” refers to puberty blockers, sex hormones, and surgeries used to alter an individual’s physical appearance or sexual organs to align with a gender identity different from their sex, often termed “gender-affirming care.”
Previously, Trump has banned all transgender troops from the military. Trump and his administration see transgender forces as a sign the military is “woke” and more focused on diversity and social narratives than training and winning wars, which should the foremost priority for a miliary institution.
Effects of such Medical Procedures
Many transitioning youth afterwards express grave regret because they feel that their choice had more to do with other people’s desires than with themselves. There are numerous documented cases of people who regret gender transition. Chloe Cole is one such example; she began her ‘transition’ as a teenager, even receiving hormone therapy and a double mastectomy, but now regrets her choice. She now speaks out against these interventions, highlighting the lack of proper counselling and the pressure placed on vulnerable youth. Just imagine a child younger than 19 finds it hard to decide which subject he wants to study in their graduation. They are not sure of their likes and dislikes. At this age, how can they make a life-changing decision which has the potential to permanently damage and reverse their body structure and behaviour?
Another case is that of Walt Heyer, who started his transgender journey as a young boy when his grandmother cross-dressed him in a purple dress and affirmed him as a girl. This planted the seed of gender confusion, leading to his transition to a transgender female at age 42. He lived as “Laura” for eight years but realized that transitioning did not resolve his underlying psychological distress. Heyer was later diagnosed with psychological issues due to childhood trauma.
Walt believed that becoming a girl would make him feel accepted and safe but he felt that the decision was misguided, and he now advocates against transitioning without addressing underlying mental health conditions. After de-transitioning, he openly shares how hormones and surgeries may alter appearances but cannot change biological sex. His story is one of many that contradict the media narrative that regret is rare.
Such cases are not just limited to the everyman, world renowned billionaire and technocrat Elon Musk too has faced the ill effects of the woke movement which has effected his son, Vivian Wilson, highlighting how family dynamics can be severely affected by such gender transitions.
Musk’s son legally changed his name in 2022 and sought gender transition procedures. His billionaire father has repeatedly blamed the “woke mind virus” for his decision and said that he is “dead” to him. Vivan has also severed all ties with his father and is calling himself a “girl” now. It shows that wealth, status, or influence cannot spare families from emotional turmoil that accompanies such irreversible medical decisions.
Medical Lobby
The medical industry has also played a contentious role in promoting gender-affirming treatments. Pharmaceutical companies and medical professionals benefit financially from a lifelong dependency on hormones and follow-up surgeries. This points out that the ethical concerns do not matter nor patients’ best interests, but they fulfil the best interests of corporate profit.
The rapid rise in youth identifying as transgender has led some to question whether social influence, rather than medical necessity, is driving this trend. This is more about building perceptions and spreading misinformation among the youth by wokes. As the woke narrative of changing the natural gender spreads, the Trump administration has initiated a legal way to manage this issue.

The support for gender-affirming treatments by Democrats and other left-leaning leaders in the name of freedom of choice has further aggravated the social problems. It is a blatant misuse of power and medical expertise to mentally and physically permanently scar the youth.
Many left-leaning politicians and Democrat-ruled states such as Los Angeles and New York have embraced these medical interventions as a way to appear progressive. In this time Trump’s decisions (executive order) are socially farsighted and will have a long-term impact on saving the family structures and conserving the innocence of youth from mass scale exploitation.
