President Joe Biden – the messiah of illegal immigrants who has already defanged the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), is now using the same agency to spill American taxpayers’ money for the welfare of those jumping fences and trying to illegally enter the United States. According to a Fox Business report, ICE is securing hotel rooms to handle the growing influx of illegal families crossing into the United States. Even without such immigrants having secured asylum in America, leave alone its citizenship, the taxpayers’ money has begun being spilled over them by the Democrats. One can only imagine how Biden will work towards the upliftment of only illegal immigrants for whatever time he has remaining in office.

The Biden administration has awarded ICE an $86.9 million contract for hotel rooms near the border to provide temporary shelter and processing services for families who have not been expelled from the United States but have been placed in immigration proceedings for their removal. The contract, through Texas-based non-profit Endeavors, provides 1,239 beds and “other necessary services.” Around 7,000 migrant families were caught in January compared to nearly 19,000 migrant families in February. Meanwhile, unaccompanied children and single minors caught crossing the southwest border increased from 5,694 in January to 9,297 in February.

As of Sunday, CBP had more than 4,200 minors in custody along the border, a record in itself. In February, Border Patrol arrested nearly 97,000 people along the southwest border, and will likely arrest more than 100,000 in March. The Biden administration, with the $87 million contract for helping illegal immigrants, is ensuring that they are availed with hotel rooms with beds, necessary kits, a comprehensive health assessment, including COVID-19 testing among other perks while their asylum requests are worked out.

Interestingly, Endeavors, the NGO with which the Biden administration has signed the contract also provides victim services, therapeutic regiments, educational resources and mental health care to immigrants. Endeavors also offers culturally appropriate, trauma-informed, child-centered case management, home study, and post-release services for unaccompanied children and their sponsors. It is an open debate whether the services being provided to illegal immigrants are offered to a vast majority of ordinary, taxpaying Americans or not.

Yet, the hard-earned money of such American is being spilled over illegal immigrants by the Biden administration. This, at a time when the federal government refuses to accept that it is failing to deal with an unprecedented crisis on America’s southern border. In order to prevent the crisis from gaining publicity and media coverage, NBC News reported that the Biden administration has restricted the ability of Border Patrol agents and sector chiefs to share information with the media, as a surge of migrants tests the agency’s capacity at the southern border, according to four current and two former Customs and Border Protection officials.

In 2019, Biden had, while urging illegal immigrants to rush to America, said, “all those people seeking asylum, they deserve to be heard…if you want to flee and you are fleeing oppression, you should come.” Then, immediately after taking office, Joe Biden diluted former President Donald Trump’s stringent border strengthening mechanisms. The fresh President also took decisions that have defanged ICE. What’s worse, Biden has also put the historic Wall construction on hold! The present border crisis, and resultant financial spillage is thus a making of Joe Biden alone.
