Career of Vanessa Macias

Her classmates dubbed her “Bo” during school. Vanessa interned as a reporter for Don Harris’ San Antonio High School Sports Show while in college. During this time, she also continued her education at the University of North Texas.

Vanessa Macias went on to anchor Show Me Texas, a tour show, shortly after graduating, before moving on to CBS to host Great Day San Antonio. She also presented a travel TV show called Vamos! Travel Show and appeared on two reality TV shows: Urban Jungle 2 and Amazing Race, in which her ex-boyfriend Ralph Kelly(a personal trainer and bar owner from Boerne) joined her. Season 20 of “The Amazing Race,” which begins at 7 p.m. on CBS on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012 has the two as partners. They are one of 11 two-person teams vying for a $1 million prize.

The show’s promoters dubbed them “Dating Divorcees” since they were all divorced when they started dating. (They were still together when they taped the show last fall, but they broke up shortly after the month-long shoot.)

Timothy Theodore Duncan (born April 25, 1976) is a retired professional basketball player and coach from the United States. He is widely recognised as the best power forward of all time and one of the greatest players in NBA history, earning the nickname “the Big Fundamental.” He played for the San Antonio Spurs during his whole 19-year career. In 2020, he was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2021, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Duncan began his basketball career in ninth school, after Hurricane Hugo damaged the only available Olympic-sized pool in his hometown of Saint Croix, United States Virgin Islands. He was a basketball player for St. Dunstan’s Episcopal in high school. Duncan was a member of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in college, where he won the John Wooden Award and was awarded the Naismith College Player of the Year and the USBWA College Player of the Year in his senior year.

Leg 10 was also the second time (after Leg 3 of Season 3) that a team (Bopper & Mark) who had won the Fast Forward was eliminated on the same leg. After Season 1, this was the second season in which the teams who finished in the top three in Leg 1 also finished the full season. Fast Forward, which had been absent for the previous two seasons, made a comeback this season.
