Early life
Ari Stidham was born to a Sephardic Jewish father and an Ashkenazi Jewish mother in Westlake Village, California, on August 22, 1992. His father’s grandparents were from Morocco and the United States, and his maternal grandparents were from Russia. He was raised in a Reform Jewish home and attended the Thousand Oaks Center for Early Jewish Education. He does not identify as a religious Jew, but he does identify as Jewish culturally.

Ari Stidham Career
Ari Stidham started playing music when he was four years old and went on to perform in theater and musical shows throughout elementary and high school. Later, he performed with and was a member of the Los Angeles Improvisational comedy troupe ComedySportz.
Stidham made his acting debut in 2010 with the role of Ian in the ABC Family television series Huge, which was based on the novel of the same name and followed eight teenagers who were sent to a weight-loss camp. Despite the fact that the role of Sylvester Dodd in the CBS series Scorpion was created for an African-American actor in his thirties, he auditioned and was cast in the role after only one audition. From 2014 through 2018, Stidham was a member of the series’ main cast for all four seasons (93 episodes).

Dr. Television, or DRTV, is another moniker he uses to release music. He also produces “short form alternative comedy” with Zach Green through his production company Stidley Inc., which includes the monthly love comedy radio play Dick Duquesne: Tales of a Private Dick.
Ari Stidham created his production company, Sanguinet Films, in 2016, with Ari at the lead as the firm’s producer, writer, and director. Curse of the Siren, their first feature, premiered at Fangoria Fearcon in 2016, and he directed it.

In 2018, he portrayed archvillain Grand Moff Levine in Solo Must Die: A Musical Parody, a musical theater satire.
The Edgar Allan Show, a comic and musical celebration and retelling of Edgar Allan Poe’s works, was staged by Stidham in October 2019. Stidham directed and sang original songs in re-enactments and recitals of ‘The Raven,’ ‘The Tell-Tale Heart,’ and ‘The Fall of the House of Usher.’
