Stephan Harper is back with a bang, and that’s terrible news for Trudeau

conservative party Canada

The Conservative Party of Canada has ever since been in a bid to uproot Justin Trudeau’s woke government. But regrettably, the Conservatives never succeeded in unseating him. They suffered their third consecutive defeat in the elections last year.

But this time, a 42-year-old MP is determined to make a difference and save the Conservative Party of Canada. We’re referring to Pierre Poilievre, who is vying to lead the Conservative Party.

Trudeau’s itchy choices nevertheless contributed to his declining popularity in Canada. For instance, the approval of controversial pipelines and LNG projects, appearing to back away from his promise of electoral reform, cash-for-access fundraising, and Trudeau’s vacation on a billionaire’s private island in the Bahamas, etc. have all attributed to his declining popularity.  Furthermore, his decision to consider imposing C-11, a severe step, is currently the subject of intense debate. It seeks to establish standards for how streaming providers are required to manage all online audio-visual content.

The act would give the Trudeau government the power to determine what will appear on “the homepage” and the “Watch next’ section on YouTube. You see, how the Trudeau government has been indulging in curbing the dissenting voices in Canada.

And now Pierre Poilievre, a formidable conservative figure, presents Trudeau with a new challenge. Also, Pierre Poilievre possesses a potent tool that could enable him to handily defeat Justin Trudeau in the upcoming elections.

Pierre Poilievre using his wide social media presence

Pierre Poilievre is someone who can rally the conservatives under him. With over 300,000 followers on Twitter, around 500,000 followers on Facebook and over 200,000 YouTube subscribers, Poilievre has gained a horde of followers on social media. And he is adept at using social media to capitalise on the escalating discontent with the Trudeau administration.

He has been using social media for attacking Trudeau’s restrictive policies and offering a government that would let Canadians “take back control of their lives”.

But, now what adds on, will send shockwaves in the Trudeau administration: ‘‘Endorsement by former PM Stephen Harper.  Pierre Pollievre getting endorsed by Stephen Harper comes as a shock because Harper has never before endorsed a candidate for the leadership race.

Former leader of Canada Stephen Harper believes that Pierre Poilievre has the best chance of becoming leader of the Conservative Party in the upcoming general election.

Harper made this statement in a video that was uploaded on Facebook and Twitter on Monday night and described Poilievre’s capacity to rally support from new members as a crucial component for success.

“In my perspective, Pierre has made by far the strongest case, and that’s how we win the next federal election”, Harper remarked.

More than 300,000 people, according to Poilievre’s campaign, have registered to vote in the leadership contest. Poilievre, a longstanding lawmaker for the Carleton riding in the Ottawa region, was also complimented by Harper for being an effective communicator who understood the most crucial problems facing Canada.
