Dear Nationalists of Canada, Beware! You are a national security threat now

The Liberal government in Canada, led by PM Justin Trudeau, is making every effort to force nationalists to concede.

The Canadian leadership is now openly renouncing nationalism and is indirectly motivating its people to let go of their love for the country.

And we have facts to solidify these claims.

Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, feels threatened as the Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) takes a lead against the liberals in recent polls.

At a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Montreal, Trudeau warned the Canadians against the rise of populism.

Recent polls show Trudeau is losing

What’s noteworthy is that Trudeau’s comments came after the liberals lost the lead in the polls against the conservatives.

Polls show that the CPC overpowered the Liberals by 1.7 percent, at 32.2 percent, while the Liberals stood at 30.5 percent. The NDP had a 20.8 percent share of the vote, while the Bloc, Greens, and PPC made up 15.3 percent of the vote, collectively.

Federal Polling Average:

CPC: 32.2%
LPC: 30.5%
NDP: 20.8%
BQ: 7%
GPC: 4.6%
PPC: 3.7%

Understandably, threatened by the rise of the opposing bloc, the PM took it upon himself to “educate” the citizens against populism.

On Monday, Trudeau said in the press conference, “In a world where our institutions are being threatened, where we face complex challenges, populism and other simplistic solutions are simply not the answer.”

What the Prime Minister should surely understand is that he is not in a position to lecture his citizens if they choose someone else. It is wrong for the prime minister to undermine the emerging alternative ideology in a democratic system.

In his remarks, Trudeau undermined nationalism by warning the populace against “excessive populism and over-nationalism.”

What the PM actually did was target the CPC’s leading candidate, Pierre Poilievre, who has been widely described as a populist by both critics and supporters.

We are confident that Pierre would proudly embrace the “nationalist” label, and in fact, he should.

However, when connecting Trudeau’s remarks with his previous actions, a big cloud of ambiguity looms over the Canadian public. He has already used the constitution to his advantage, launching a crackdown on anti-government protesters, the most recent example being the freedom convoy protest.

Invoking the Emergencies Act for the first time in the country’s history to quash the “Freedom Convoy” protest was unworthy of a democratic government. Trudeau then effectively took away citizens’ right to demonstrate and came up with laws and restrictions that could have even shamed his authoritarian counterparts in Cuba.

Trudeaus’ authoritarian ambitions

It would not come as a shock if the liberal administration, in accordance with Trudaue’s views, orchestrated aggression against the nationalists, similar to what they did with Jeremy Mackenzie, the founder of Diagolon.

A prominent figure in the Freedom Convoy protests, Mackenzie was labelled as a national security threat by a federal counterterrorism organization.

Imagine someone being labelled as a security threat for being a nationalist. Today, it is opposition leaders, but as more people embrace nationalism, it would not be unlikely that the liberal government would crack down on ordinary citizens as well, labelling them a threat to the country. Because you see, the liberal government had made every effort to stop every funding that could financially empower the freedom protest. Now, undoubtedly, when any other opposition political movement emerges in the country, Trudeau will leave no stone unturned to curb them.

One thing’s for sure, the conservatives are all set to rise to power in the upcoming polls in 2025, and Trudeau’s hour-long monologues to the Canadian populace won’t make a difference.
