History of this Temple

The Khatushyam temple was first built in 1027 AD by Rup Singh Chauhan and his wife Narmada Kanwar. Later, in 1720 AD, the temple was renovated and renovated by a nobleman- Diwan Abhay Singh. At this time, the sanctum sanctorum was constructed and the idol was installed. This is also the structure that stands today. The history and whole story of Khatushyam temple dates back to Mahabharata.

It is told in the history of Khatu Shyam that earlier the name of Khatu Shyam ji was Barbarik. He was the son of strong mace holder Bhima and snake girl Mauravi. Right from his childhood he had all the qualities of becoming a brave warrior. He learned the art of fighting from his mother and Shri Krishna. He obtained three arrows by doing severe penance of Lord Shiva. These three arrows were enough to make him victorious in all the three worlds.

Deogarh Place

Deogarh place is one of the famous fort near Khatu Shyam Ji, Sikar. This fort was built by Rao Raja Devi Singh in 1787. It is a very famous place for visitors near Khatu Shyam Ji and Sikar. Deogarh Fort is in Dantaramgarh. The location of this fort is very beautiful. This is a great hill station near Khatu Shyam Ji and Sikar.

Laxmi Mandir

Lakshmi temple is a new destination for the visitors of Khatu Shyam ji. Lakshmi Mandir is situated between Jeenmata and Khatu Shyam Ji. Laxmi Mandir is the best tourist place near Khatu Shyam Ji. This temple looks very beautiful. It is made in white colour which glistens in the sunlight. We want to say that if you want to visit Khatu Shyam Ji then this is very good place for your visit.

Shyam Garden and Shyam Kund

Shyam Garden and Shyam Kund is a very beautiful place to visit in Khatu Shyam Ji. Shyam Garden Khatu is situated near Shyam Mandir. There is a park in Khatu Shyam Ji. There are few temples and one of the most visited by devotees is Aaloo Singh Ji Maharaj Temple. Even in Shyam Garden and Shyam Kund is placed at the place where Shyama Baba’s head emerges. There are two Shyam Kunds available one for men and the other one for women.

By Train- The nearest railway station to Khatushyam Temple is located at Ringas which is at a distance of 19 km from this temple. From here you can easily reach this temple by using local transport services or taxi.

By Road- Roads to this temple are well connected with the other cities of the country so you can easily reach this temple by using your own vehicle.
