Joining the army is a noble decision. But lately, it seems like the armies of Western nations are facing manpower shortages. So, what do they do? They resort to catfishing, of course!

Yes, you heard that right. The army is using social media to lure in soldiers, with women officers glamorizing themselves as influencers pushing reels and captions like “I’m not the American dream, I’m more like the American nightmare.” I mean, who wouldn’t want to sign up for that, right?

For many years, there has been a volunteer scarcity in the US Armed Forces. The military still lacks recruits despite staff reductions (over the past 40 years, the number of employees has decreased by almost half).

Out of a 60,000-person target, the military only able to sign up 45,000 service members in 2022. As a consequence, Army Secretary Christine Wormuth declared that National Guard and Army Reserve members could be called to active duty. Since it might not be feasible to staff every existing detachment completely, units could also be further reduced.

Let’s face it, the real issue is that Gen-Z is too busy with their woke agenda to care about joining the military. So, the army has resorted to state-sponsored honey trapping!

But, let’s be real, those men are just hollow shells, coming for the women and not for their motherland. They are not hardworking soldiers, they are hardworking simps.

So, if they are joining the army, just remember, they must do it for the country, not for the girls.
