While this surely has made Trudeau earn cosmetic honour from liberals around the globe, the uncontrolled influx of Syrian refugees has made the lives of poor Canadians miserable.

In recent years, there have been several reports of sexual assault by Syrian refugees in Canada, which have led to debates about the causes of such incidents.
Recently, a man was arrested, after several teenage girls reported him to authorities at West Edmonton Mall. During a gathering for families that work at the University of Alberta, the man allegedly “both followed and inappropriately touched at least six teen girls while swimming in the park,” said police spokesperson Scott Pattison.
Besides, you may all have heard about Marissa Shen, a 13-year-old Canadian girl whose body was found in a wooded area in Central Park in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. After a 14-month impasse from the date of the murder on September 7, 2018, RCMP arrested Ibrahim Ali (born in 1990 in Syria) as a primary suspect in the murder of Marissa Shen. According to the media, Ali had come to Canada just months before the murder of the schoolgirl took place.
Ali’s status as a recent Syrian Refugee raised questions about Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s immigration policy.
What is equally problematic, is the way this story was covered in the mainstream media – many of whom were primarily concerned about the possible backlash that would come from identifying the alleged perpetrator.
You see, when a person commits a crime or is alleged to have committed it, they no longer have the right to remain anonymous. Especially when it comes to a potential paedophile. The public has a right to know.
Moreover, when non-citizens are accused of committing crimes in Canada, their status is almost always included in the story. That’s because committing a serious crime in Canada – including sexual assault – is grounds for deportation.

Both the government and media thus play a huge role in hiding the atrocities committed by Syrian refugees in their bid to sound politically correct.
One must understand that one of the major factors that contribute to sexual assault by Syrian refugees is the cultural differences between Canada and Syria. In Syria, traditional gender roles are deeply ingrained, and women are often seen as subordinate to men. Moreover, sexual education is not widely available, and the topic of sexual assault is taboo. This can lead to a lack of understanding of consent and sexual boundaries among Syrian refugees, which can lead to incidents of sexual assault in Canada.
Therefore, the issue of sexual assault by Syrian refugees is complex, and there is no easy solution to the problem. However, the Trudeau government’s silence on the crisis wouldn’t deny the reality.
