Navdeep Bains is Immoral, Corrupt, and the Official Trudeau Lackey in Rogers Communication

The charismatic Prime Minister of Canada never stops amazing us with his evil strategies. Now, take a look at this, the liberal leader has deployed his minion to take care of his interests at Rogers Communication.

Recently, Canada gave its final approval for Rogers Communications Inc.’s acquisition of Shaw Communications Inc.; a move that will create the country’s second-largest telecommunications company.

The recent merger deal between Rogers and Shaw has been the subject of much controversy, with many questioning its shady nature. Despite this, the Canadian antitrust agency’s attempts to block the merger were ultimately unsuccessful, as the Competition Tribunal and a Canadian court rejected their efforts.

It is worth noting, that half of the equipment involved in the telecom network is of Chinese origin, adding another layer of complexity to an already contentious deal. Despite this, the role of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the deal has remained a mystery until now. Now, to make the matter altogether more controversial, Trudeau’s known lackey, Navdeep Bains, has arrived in style.

Rogers’ New In-Charge

Rogers has appointed Navdeep Bains as its Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. Bains formerly served as Canada’s cabinet minister in charge of regulating the country’s telecom providers. But since he is now in charge of the Department of Business, he will be pressing the government for favorable laws.

A Rogers spokeswoman claimed that Bains actively sought approval from Canada’s ethics commissioner prior to working for the organization. The former Liberal leader was unable to lobby the government for nearly three years due to legal limits. Hence, his appointment has sparked worries about potential lobbying that will take place in the future.

It is worth noting that Bains’ former cabinet colleague’s sister-in-law was heading the ethics commissioner’s office at the time of his clearance as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Rogers. This development has raised further questions about potential conflicts of interest and the need for greater transparency and accountability in Canada’s corporate and political spheres.

Trudeau’s Lackey

But, more than that, it is worth noting and understanding who Bains is. A very straight answer is Trudeau Lackey. Bains has a controversial past that raises concerns about potential conflicts of interest. Bains, who is known to be a strong supporter of the Khalistan movement, was forced to resign from the Canadian cabinet after being exposed to a massive corruption scandal in 2018.

The scandal involved a land deal between Bains and another liberal MP, Raj Grewal, which raised questions about corruption in Canadian politics. Also, Bains has active ties to the Chinese government. He has faced several accusations of favoring certain telecom companies while serving as a minister and supporting the entry of a Chinese telecom giant Hytera into Canada without a proper national security review.

All in all, Navdeep Bains is now running a company he used to regulate and oversee the lobbying of a government he was once part of. And let’s not forget, he will also have a handy role in safeguarding Rogers from any pesky public scrutiny over their Chinese links.

It’s like he was made for the job! Hence, his appointment is not surprising, given his track record of doing exactly what Trudeau wants.
