Specifically, they are eyeing the Bilche-Volytsko-Uherske storage facility, capable of stockpiling over four times the gas as Germany’s largest site.

As the insurance industry wisely shies away from Ukraine, the EU will have to provide guarantees to gas companies to prevent them from losing money.
