Biden's Mental Health Crisis

Biden's Mental Health Crisis

Earlier this week, an unveiling was made that has, to a large extent, gotten everyone’s attention, and it has been confirmed that the President of the United States, is suffering from serious mental health issues. To provide you with the main idea, the media reports say that Biden’s mental health condition has been so bad that, if his lawyers think he isn’t competent enough to continue with a case, he won’t even be able to go to court.

This is highly disquieting because he is the president of the United States which has a global status and nuclear powers. It is not an understatement that the realization that this person with such a critical role and holds the keys to such great power could not do his duty because of mental health is indeed an alarming thought.

National Public Radio (NPR) shared the findings of a Justice Department special counsel report. The report showed that, under Biden’s presidency, great care was taken to preserve the security and confidentiality of highly classified material including his transition to being a private citizen along with his keeping and sharing of classified materials. Nevertheless, a newly released report highlights concerning findings about President Biden, stating that he has “bad memory” and “declining abilities.”

The report argues that the metal capability of Mr. Biden is practically nonexistent. This fact is truly stunning especially because Biden is not just in office currently but also seeking re-election. If an individual’s mental fitness makes them unfit for trial, it should also apply to one’s ability to serve as president of a country.

Professionals claim that President Biden cannot be trusted with a thorough understanding and the necessary open-mindedness to realize his own limitations. In this case, it becomes worse as his mental health is deteriorating and he does not even acknowledge that he needs to go away.

The U.S. Constitution offers an answer to this problem with the 25th Amendment, especially Section 4. This section outlines the grounds for impeachment in case the incumbent president is unfit to govern. The procedure is quite complicated but not impossible.

To lead the way in the process of impeachment, the vice president should, together with a majority of the cabinet, agree on the incapability of the president. Then, a two-thirds majority both in the upper and the lower chamber will need to approve the decision.

The timing of this report however leads us to a straightforward speculation: the fact that the special counsel has communicated President Biden’s mental status is not insignificant but rather a deliberate action to regenerate a different presidential candidate.

This approach sets up the scene for the Democratic Party to nominate a new candidate to replace Joe Biden’s position. The party is in a position to do this as it has timed the release of the report to ensure that it is released ahead of their meeting in Chicago, within which they will be able to celebrate the Biden era and present a successor. This meticulously organized plot suggests a deeper political game where the special counsel’s report’s timing and content become tools for shaping the future political arena, making it easy for the old oaf to step down, make it emphatic for the party’s unity and still garner sympathy from the electorate.

For Democratic strategists, it isn’t just about finding someone to play the role of the current White House president; it’s about going for a person who is the best fit to beat Trump, in the upcoming general election. The Democratic strategists somehow think that it will be difficult for Trump to compete with an opponent who is younger and more dynamic.

VP Kamala Harris is the obvious choice, but she does not have the necessary policy achievements or public recognition to compete. She has mostly been a symbolic role-player.

Then there are Speculations of some more presidential candidates that have been at the forefront. The names of Michelle Obama and Governor Gavin Newsom of California keep appearing as relevant contenders. Obama, despite her past first lady glory, has never shown any inclination towards politics. The stated reason is her hatred for politics and the unstated reason is that the rumors about her being a transgender may get viral again.

On the contrary, Gavin Newsom represents another complicated alternative. His youth and high energy, coupled with the fact that he is well connected within the Democrat elite and the Woke electorate, make him an attractive pick. Of course, this may backfire as well as it can give ammo to Trump who can lambast Newsom’s failed policies in California. As Newsom made a name for being 4 block Lefter than Karl Marx, California has been making names as the drug capital of the world and it has all happened right under Newsom’s watch.

One of the other options is Colorado’s Governor Jared Polis, who kind of maintains a good balance in his state despite his radical politics. Also, Jared Polis’ movements in politics, i.e. issuing tax refunds early, brand him as a moderate candidate.

Nevertheless, his private life can become a problem for his presidential campaign, making people doubt whether the U.S. electorate is ready for an openly gay president. President and his first Man.

How the Democrats will navigate this tricky terrain and the timing of their candidate selection will not only reveal their strategic mindset but also their ability to unite a very diverse electorate against Trump. The political infrastructure will soon ramp up for a pivotal moment at the August convention, where the next standard-bearer of the Democratic Party will emerge—a move that will set the stage for a political showdown that tests the political norms and voter preferences of the United States in an electoral context.

With the Democratic Party embarking on the wave of the election, the upcoming political scene is poised for disruption, following the report by the special counsel on President Biden’s deteriorating mental health. This report is not merely breaking news; it is a signal for change, marking the dawn of a new era in the presidential campaign. The party is now poised to rally behind a new leader, the person who can take up the mantle and directly confront the opposition.

This transition period is fraught with uncertainty. The identity of Biden’s successor remains a mystery, and the shape of the impending electoral battle is still unclear. However, one thing is unequivocally clear: the 2024 presidential race is shaping up to be unprecedented. With this unpredictable element introduced into the race, it promises to be a spectacle of political intrigue and strategic maneuvering.

As we await further developments, the anticipation is mounting. The coming months will reveal how the Democratic Party navigates this unique situation and who will emerge as the new face of their campaign. Regardless of the outcome, the 2024 election is set to be one of the most unconventional and memorable presidential races in history.
